Water & cleaning at True REST Float Spa
Sanitation is the thing seasoned floaters care about most, and most directories never show it. Between every float, the salt water should be pumped through fine filtration and disinfected — salt alone is not enough. From True REST Float Spa's own information: down to a 5-micron filter, UV sterilization, ozone, hydrogen peroxide.

From the reviews
So grateful for my float experience today. If only it were possible to have a float pod for your bed 😅 Staff were super supportive, personable, and knowledgeable. It was a relaxed vibe without feeling "stuffy" about it, iykyk 😉 I am 23 weeks pregnant and glad that I took this time to care for myself in this way.
True REST Float Spa in Napa delivered a one-of-a-kind experience I didn’t know I needed. I honestly didn’t believe I could actually float—let alone in a serene pod of water—but this place proved me wrong in the most relaxing and restorative way possible. From the moment you walk in, the process is seamless.
The service was great. The sensation of floating was so relaxing. The room was slightly chillier than I'd have liked when I climbed out and the Oasis room was crowded enough to make me self conscious during my oxygen treatment. I wish there was a little more privacy and less noise in there.
I recently had my first float therapy session at True Rest Spa, and it was truly a transformative and deeply relaxing experience. I give them 5/5 stars. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to de-stress, manage pain, or simply unplug from the digital world.
Your first float at True REST Float Spa
Never floated before? Almost no one has their first time, and a good center expects it. Here's what to know. What it is: you float effortlessly in about ten inches of skin-temperature water saturated with around 1,000 lbs of Epsom salt — so dense you cannot sink. In the dark and quiet, with no light, sound, or gravity to react to, your nervous system downshifts. Before you come: don't shave or wax for a day beforehand (salt stings fresh cuts — they'll have barrier ointment if you nick yourself), skip caffeine, eat a light meal an hour or two before, and remove contacts. If you colored your hair recently, wait a few days. In the tank: shower first, put earplugs in before you get wet, and keep a fresh-water spray bottle within reach for salt in the eyes. You can leave the light or music on until you settle, then turn them off from inside. Hold your arms out for the first 20–30 seconds to stop bobbing, then let go. It takes a few tries — the first 20 minutes are usually your mind winding down. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to shower and get oriented.
