From the reviews
Every single time I go to Reboot I feel taken care of. The pods are very well kept and I love the option to have colored rotating lights in the pods. It creates such a unique experience that is as visual as it is relaxing. All amenities you could as for in the shower or the post-float vanity station are top tier.
I had the opportunity to float three times last week at the oakland location and had a wonderful and relaxed experience each time. the staff is really genuine and helpful, and it really is about the float. as far as the actual float, i was surprised at how relaxed I really got.
I’m a regular for the infrared saunas and always appreciate the friendly service. I’ve also done cryo, boots, and a float here and loved all . I feel like they are always going above and beyond - whether it’s five extra minutes in the sauna even when I arrive late or accommodating last minute schedule changes, it…
I was dealing with body aches, nerve inflammation, and exhaustion from poor sleep. Since my first visit, I've felt the benefits. The weightlessness completely takes the pressure off my nerves and joints; it felt like a total reset button for my physical and mental health. Clean, peaceful, and highly effective.
Your first float at Reboot Float & Cryo Spa
Never floated before? Almost no one has their first time, and a good center expects it. Here's what to know. What it is: you float effortlessly in about ten inches of skin-temperature water saturated with around 1,000 lbs of Epsom salt — so dense you cannot sink. In the dark and quiet, with no light, sound, or gravity to react to, your nervous system downshifts. Before you come: don't shave or wax for a day beforehand (salt stings fresh cuts — they'll have barrier ointment if you nick yourself), skip caffeine, eat a light meal an hour or two before, and remove contacts. If you colored your hair recently, wait a few days. In the tank: shower first, put earplugs in before you get wet, and keep a fresh-water spray bottle within reach for salt in the eyes. You can leave the light or music on until you settle, then turn them off from inside. Hold your arms out for the first 20–30 seconds to stop bobbing, then let go. It takes a few tries — the first 20 minutes are usually your mind winding down. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to shower and get oriented.
