Water & cleaning at Chalárosi Float Studio
Sanitation is the thing seasoned floaters care about most, and most directories never show it. Between every float, the salt water should be pumped through fine filtration and disinfected — salt alone is not enough. From Chalárosi Float Studio's own information: UV sterilization.

From the reviews
I wanted to try something different for my birthday than what I traditionally do. Someone on YouTube shared their experience with float tanks so I followed suit and said, “oh, I’ll try that”.
What an incredible place to have right in the middle of Newnan. I’ve been to other float spas before and have had mixed experiences. Chalarosi is amazing and the experiences husband and I have had are phenomenal. The float spa is nice and relaxing and exactly what I needed. The staff are super nice and friendly.
I had my first floating session, and it was such a wonderful experience! Jason was incredibly helpful, guiding me through everything and making me feel completely comfortable. I also really appreciated him walking me through all the other services available. He made my first time floating smooth and enjoyable.
I can’t even begin to explain how amazing this place is! It’s family owned, clean, and aesthetically pleasing. I did a 45 minute sauna session followed by a cold plunge and I couldn’t be more happy with my experience! I can’t wait to bring my fiancé for the float next!!! Can’t recommend enough!
Your first float at Chalárosi Float Studio
Never floated before? Almost no one has their first time, and a good center expects it. Here's what to know. What it is: you float effortlessly in about ten inches of skin-temperature water saturated with around 1,000 lbs of Epsom salt — so dense you cannot sink. In the dark and quiet, with no light, sound, or gravity to react to, your nervous system downshifts. Before you come: don't shave or wax for a day beforehand (salt stings fresh cuts — they'll have barrier ointment if you nick yourself), skip caffeine, eat a light meal an hour or two before, and remove contacts. If you colored your hair recently, wait a few days. In the tank: shower first, put earplugs in before you get wet, and keep a fresh-water spray bottle within reach for salt in the eyes. You can leave the light or music on until you settle, then turn them off from inside. Hold your arms out for the first 20–30 seconds to stop bobbing, then let go. It takes a few tries — the first 20 minutes are usually your mind winding down. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to shower and get oriented.
