Water & cleaning at Victory Float Lounge - Sewickley
Sanitation is the thing seasoned floaters care about most, and most directories never show it. Between every float, the salt water should be pumped through fine filtration and disinfected — salt alone is not enough. From Victory Float Lounge - Sewickley's own information: filters the full tank 3× between floats, down to a 1-micron filter, ozone, hydrogen peroxide.

I experienced my first float here at Victory. Casey made me feel comfortable and excited for my first journey. The place was clean and peaceful. My first float was an amazing experience and I'll definitely be back. If you're considering trying a float, don't hesitate. You will not regret it.
I’ve floated around the country, and this facility is wonderful! They’ve got an awesome variety of services, in addition to floating! If you’ve never tried floating, it’s incredibly relaxing and super good for your health overall. This is a great price for the awesome value floating offers!
For anyone wondering what floating is like, do yourself a favor and try it. We are so busy in life and have our phones attached to us every second of the day. This gives you a chance to remove all of the distractions and have an hour to yourself. Victory Float was incredible. The place is very welcoming and clean.
I love coming here to float it truly puts me in a better mindset at the end of it and feeling fully relaxed! Helps with anxiety levels as well! The starlight tank is beautifully lit and has peaceful music to help let go of the mind for a moment of time. I recommend coming here if you never tried a float before!
Your first float at Victory Float Lounge - Sewickley
Never floated before? Almost no one has their first time, and a good center expects it. Here's what to know. What it is: you float effortlessly in about ten inches of skin-temperature water saturated with around 1,000 lbs of Epsom salt — so dense you cannot sink. In the dark and quiet, with no light, sound, or gravity to react to, your nervous system downshifts. Before you come: don't shave or wax for a day beforehand (salt stings fresh cuts — they'll have barrier ointment if you nick yourself), skip caffeine, eat a light meal an hour or two before, and remove contacts. If you colored your hair recently, wait a few days. In the tank: shower first, put earplugs in before you get wet, and keep a fresh-water spray bottle within reach for salt in the eyes. You can leave the light or music on until you settle, then turn them off from inside. Hold your arms out for the first 20–30 seconds to stop bobbing, then let go. It takes a few tries — the first 20 minutes are usually your mind winding down. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to shower and get oriented.
