Water & cleaning at True REST Float Spa – Old Orchard
Sanitation is the thing seasoned floaters care about most, and most directories never show it. Between every float, the salt water should be pumped through fine filtration and disinfected — salt alone is not enough. From True REST Float Spa – Old Orchard's own information: down to a 5-micron filter, UV sterilization, ozone, hydrogen peroxide.

From the reviews
This was my first time experience. It was really amazing. You were welcomed guided through what we are going to expect. We were taken in and explained what the process is going to be like. You get it you get an individual room in the pod. Do you know if you actually Float.
My wife and I went here for our first float and had a great experience! Murphy greeted us at the door and walked us through everything. He was super friendly and inviting! The actual float rooms are very nice with a shower and your own private float tank.
First time here and will be returning! This was an absolutely amazing experience from the moment I walked in. I was greeted by Crysta, who was very polite and welcoming. She explained everything very professionally. The float was a great experience (I advise trying to keep the water from getting in your eyes).
I would highly recommend this float spa to anyone who needs a break and quiet time. The customer service, cleanliness and amenities offered here are all of top-notch quality. Thank you for giving me an hour of absolute relaxation time!
Your first float at True REST Float Spa – Old Orchard
Never floated before? Almost no one has their first time, and a good center expects it. Here's what to know. What it is: you float effortlessly in about ten inches of skin-temperature water saturated with around 1,000 lbs of Epsom salt — so dense you cannot sink. In the dark and quiet, with no light, sound, or gravity to react to, your nervous system downshifts. Before you come: don't shave or wax for a day beforehand (salt stings fresh cuts — they'll have barrier ointment if you nick yourself), skip caffeine, eat a light meal an hour or two before, and remove contacts. If you colored your hair recently, wait a few days. In the tank: shower first, put earplugs in before you get wet, and keep a fresh-water spray bottle within reach for salt in the eyes. You can leave the light or music on until you settle, then turn them off from inside. Hold your arms out for the first 20–30 seconds to stop bobbing, then let go. It takes a few tries — the first 20 minutes are usually your mind winding down. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to shower and get oriented.
