Water & cleaning at True REST Float Spa
Sanitation is the thing seasoned floaters care about most, and most directories never show it. Between every float, the salt water should be pumped through fine filtration and disinfected — salt alone is not enough. From True REST Float Spa's own information: down to a 5-micron filter, UV sterilization, ozone, hydrogen peroxide.

From the reviews
I've been eagerly awaiting their opening as I have floated before but not quite like this. From the time I came in, to the time I left, I was treated like family. The spa is tranquil and welcoming. The owners and staff are delightful. And I really enjoyed my float/ oxygen treatment.
Awesome experience from the confirmation email to the float itself. It was my first time floating so I was open to as much information as possible. They sent me an email prior to my appointment with information of when to arrive and what to expect upon arrival (i.
From the moment I walked in, the environment was calming and welcoming. The float tank itself was a game-changer—weightless, silent, and free of distractions. It’s like being suspended in space, with nothing but your breath and thoughts. I left feeling mentally clear, physically relaxed, and completely refreshed.
THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!! The owners are amazing, the staff are incredibly kind and the actual float experience itself, is beyond words. I have never felt so good after a wellness experience, ever. I signed up for a membership immediately after my first session and have told everyone I know.
Your first float at True REST Float Spa
Never floated before? Almost no one has their first time, and a good center expects it. Here's what to know. What it is: you float effortlessly in about ten inches of skin-temperature water saturated with around 1,000 lbs of Epsom salt — so dense you cannot sink. In the dark and quiet, with no light, sound, or gravity to react to, your nervous system downshifts. Before you come: don't shave or wax for a day beforehand (salt stings fresh cuts — they'll have barrier ointment if you nick yourself), skip caffeine, eat a light meal an hour or two before, and remove contacts. If you colored your hair recently, wait a few days. In the tank: shower first, put earplugs in before you get wet, and keep a fresh-water spray bottle within reach for salt in the eyes. You can leave the light or music on until you settle, then turn them off from inside. Hold your arms out for the first 20–30 seconds to stop bobbing, then let go. It takes a few tries — the first 20 minutes are usually your mind winding down. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to shower and get oriented.
