From the reviews
This was my first float session and it was a very nice and relaxing experience. The 9ft pod feels quite spacious and the magnesium water feels great on your skin. It's easy to float in place and it feels nice to have your body fully supported by the water so you can relax every muscle.
Bobbie was absolutely AMAZING! From the moment I booked, she was so accommodating and made my first float therapy experience completely stress-free. She took the time to thoroughly explain what actually happens during float therapy, which helped me feel comfortable and prepared.
Bobbie brings incredible energy to this facility, which is truly top-tier. The staff is both friendly and highly knowledgeable, and the equipment is state-of-the-art. I highly recommend the float treatment; being suspended allowed my mind to drift and relax in a way that I usually only experience while on vacation.
I absolutely love this place! I experienced the Float therapy and an LED light session on my first visit. I will definitely be back for more services. The facilities are 5 star and aestheticially appealing. The staff and nurses are friendly and extremely knowledgeable.
Your first float at Pause East Cobb - Marietta
Never floated before? Almost no one has their first time, and a good center expects it. Here's what to know. What it is: you float effortlessly in about ten inches of skin-temperature water saturated with around 1,000 lbs of Epsom salt — so dense you cannot sink. In the dark and quiet, with no light, sound, or gravity to react to, your nervous system downshifts. Before you come: don't shave or wax for a day beforehand (salt stings fresh cuts — they'll have barrier ointment if you nick yourself), skip caffeine, eat a light meal an hour or two before, and remove contacts. If you colored your hair recently, wait a few days. In the tank: shower first, put earplugs in before you get wet, and keep a fresh-water spray bottle within reach for salt in the eyes. You can leave the light or music on until you settle, then turn them off from inside. Hold your arms out for the first 20–30 seconds to stop bobbing, then let go. It takes a few tries — the first 20 minutes are usually your mind winding down. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to shower and get oriented.
