The classic enclosed capsule with a hinged lid. Deepest sensory deprivation; you lie down and pull the lid to.
A walk-in enclosure with full standing height — for taller floaters and anyone who wants privacy without a low lid.
Water & cleaning at The Salt Center: Float & Wellness Spa
Sanitation is the thing seasoned floaters care about most, and most directories never show it. Between every float, the salt water should be pumped through fine filtration and disinfected — salt alone is not enough. From The Salt Center: Float & Wellness Spa's own information: filters the full tank 7× between floats, down to a 1-micron filter, UV sterilization, ozone, hydrogen peroxide.

From the reviews
I had the most amazing float here. Everything was clean, fresh, & quiet! I was so happy to not hear anybody else. I was able to just drift away, listening to music and seeing twinkling stars on the roof of the float pod. They offer other services such as massage, a salt room, and sauna.
Very enjoyable experience! The entire float spa experience was truly unique. The instructions were very detailed and its obvious they have thought about the customer experience. I felt very well-informed and cared for.
As soon as I walked into The Salt Center, the atmosphere was calm, clean, and beautifully designed. The staff are very warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable, making sure I felt completely comfortable and prepared for my first float. The float itself was absolutely amazing.
As someone who has struggled for years with mental health, I am so glad that I found this place. The floats are my favorite service, for they have been an incredible reset for my mind that has allowed me to come out feeling calm, centered, and emotionally balanced.
Your first float at The Salt Center: Float & Wellness Spa
Never floated before? Almost no one has their first time, and a good center expects it. Here's what to know. What it is: you float effortlessly in about ten inches of skin-temperature water saturated with around 1,000 lbs of Epsom salt — so dense you cannot sink. In the dark and quiet, with no light, sound, or gravity to react to, your nervous system downshifts. Before you come: don't shave or wax for a day beforehand (salt stings fresh cuts — they'll have barrier ointment if you nick yourself), skip caffeine, eat a light meal an hour or two before, and remove contacts. If you colored your hair recently, wait a few days. In the tank: shower first, put earplugs in before you get wet, and keep a fresh-water spray bottle within reach for salt in the eyes. You can leave the light or music on until you settle, then turn them off from inside. Hold your arms out for the first 20–30 seconds to stop bobbing, then let go. It takes a few tries — the first 20 minutes are usually your mind winding down. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to shower and get oriented.
