The tanks & rooms here

The vessel type is the single biggest thing to get right — especially if enclosed spaces make you uneasy. Here's what Sirona Wellness Spa - Float Therapy & Massage Therapy runs, drawn from their own site and reviews.

🚪Float Cabins

A walk-in enclosure with full standing height — for taller floaters and anyone who wants privacy without a low lid.

The room itself is the vessel: no hatch, walk straight in. Great for claustrophobia and easier access.

Water & cleaning at Sirona Wellness Spa - Float Therapy & Massage Therapy

Sanitation is the thing seasoned floaters care about most, and most directories never show it. Between every float, the salt water should be pumped through fine filtration and disinfected — salt alone is not enough. From Sirona Wellness Spa - Float Therapy & Massage Therapy's own information: UV sterilization, hydrogen peroxide.

The float-industry standard is turning the entire volume of water over at least three times between sessions through a 1–10 micron filter, paired with UV and/or hydrogen peroxide or ozone. If a center doesn't publish its process, it's fair to ask.

From the reviews

I brought my daughter who's visiting from California for our first float spa experience to Sirona Wellness Spa and we were not disappointed! The owners, Jason and Taylor, were very accommodating and professional . The building has a beautiful outdoor mural and the inside is very clean, well-decorated and calming.

I LOVE Sirona! I started coming by getting a couples massage and we loved that. Came back to try float therapy, also loved that. Got a membership for float therapy then eventually found my way into the infrared sauna membership.

Overall I enjoyed the sensation of floating in the salt water. I was more relaxed and slept well that night. I like the choice of light or no light, music or no music, although i would prefer a warm white light to the purple light. The space is beautiful and the spa in general is well run.

Absolutely loved my experience at Sirona! The atmosphere is gorgeous, very clean, and so calming from the moment you walk in. It was my first time doing a float, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. I can’t wait to return!

Your first float at Sirona Wellness Spa - Float Therapy & Massage Therapy

Never floated before? Almost no one has their first time, and a good center expects it. Here's what to know. What it is: you float effortlessly in about ten inches of skin-temperature water saturated with around 1,000 lbs of Epsom salt — so dense you cannot sink. In the dark and quiet, with no light, sound, or gravity to react to, your nervous system downshifts. Before you come: don't shave or wax for a day beforehand (salt stings fresh cuts — they'll have barrier ointment if you nick yourself), skip caffeine, eat a light meal an hour or two before, and remove contacts. If you colored your hair recently, wait a few days. In the tank: shower first, put earplugs in before you get wet, and keep a fresh-water spray bottle within reach for salt in the eyes. You can leave the light or music on until you settle, then turn them off from inside. Hold your arms out for the first 20–30 seconds to stop bobbing, then let go. It takes a few tries — the first 20 minutes are usually your mind winding down. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to shower and get oriented.

Floating isn't for everyone: skip it with epilepsy, kidney disease, uncontrolled heart conditions, open wounds, a contagious condition, or in the first trimester of pregnancy without your doctor's OK. If in doubt, ask the center and check with a physician — this is general information, not medical advice.
