The tanks & rooms here
No lid to close over you — the answer for anyone who feels boxed in. Open pools, open rooms, or pods whose door stays open.
The classic enclosed capsule with a hinged lid. Deepest sensory deprivation; you lie down and pull the lid to.
A walk-in enclosure with full standing height — for taller floaters and anyone who wants privacy without a low lid.
The room itself is the vessel: no hatch, walk straight in. Great for claustrophobia and easier access.

First time floating here- it’s my new favorite place! Gorgeous and sparkling clean facilities. I have floated elsewhere before, but Sal de Terra far exceeded my expectations. They have a nice and welcoming layout overall, some other float places I have been to felt very tight in the lobby, but not here.
My wife and I just had the most incredible Valentine’s experience at Sal de Terra in Hooksett, NH, and we can’t recommend it enough. We booked the first time couples float along with the HaloSauna experience, and from the moment we walked in, everything felt calm, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed.
Had my very first float at Sal De Terra in Hooksett, NH. I was greeted by the owner Mike and he gave me the rundown of how the float works and a tour of the entire place with all the amenities it has to offer. It was a great experience, I was not rushed and I felt so refreshed and relaxed after.
My experience was wonderful, looking forward to going back. I started with floating and will experience the rest of the treatments soon. Good location and, a very upscale spa. The owner did a great job with the construction of the spa and also a very pleasant person
Your first float at Sal de Terra
Never floated before? Almost no one has their first time, and a good center expects it. Here's what to know. What it is: you float effortlessly in about ten inches of skin-temperature water saturated with around 1,000 lbs of Epsom salt — so dense you cannot sink. In the dark and quiet, with no light, sound, or gravity to react to, your nervous system downshifts. Before you come: don't shave or wax for a day beforehand (salt stings fresh cuts — they'll have barrier ointment if you nick yourself), skip caffeine, eat a light meal an hour or two before, and remove contacts. If you colored your hair recently, wait a few days. In the tank: shower first, put earplugs in before you get wet, and keep a fresh-water spray bottle within reach for salt in the eyes. You can leave the light or music on until you settle, then turn them off from inside. Hold your arms out for the first 20–30 seconds to stop bobbing, then let go. It takes a few tries — the first 20 minutes are usually your mind winding down. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to shower and get oriented.
