Water & cleaning at Lost in Float
Sanitation is the thing seasoned floaters care about most, and most directories never show it. Between every float, the salt water should be pumped through fine filtration and disinfected — salt alone is not enough. From Lost in Float's own information: UV sterilization.

From the reviews
Can't give this place enough props. The atmosphere is incredible. All the staff members are kind, courteous, helpful, and great to be around. Floating itself is amazing. It puts you on cloud nine, clears your mind and makes you feel great mentally, and loosens up your body about the same as a massage.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Tried my first float at Lost in Float during Dog Days of Summer 🐾—and it was hands-down the best hour I’ve spent all summer! ☀️🧘♀️ Booking was incredibly easy—I found my service, picked a time slot, and was on my way in under 5 minutes 📲✅.
This is an amazing experience! I have extremely high blood pressure, but using float therapy has lowered it to a doctor pleasing range. Everyone here is so incredibly accommodating. My old body looks forward to every visit and my ADHD mind craves the release! For me, this place is a must and I love it!
Absolutely amazing staff and service! Lost in Float is essential to my wellness and I highly recommend you check them out.
Your first float at Lost in Float
Never floated before? Almost no one has their first time, and a good center expects it. Here's what to know. What it is: you float effortlessly in about ten inches of skin-temperature water saturated with around 1,000 lbs of Epsom salt — so dense you cannot sink. In the dark and quiet, with no light, sound, or gravity to react to, your nervous system downshifts. Before you come: don't shave or wax for a day beforehand (salt stings fresh cuts — they'll have barrier ointment if you nick yourself), skip caffeine, eat a light meal an hour or two before, and remove contacts. If you colored your hair recently, wait a few days. In the tank: shower first, put earplugs in before you get wet, and keep a fresh-water spray bottle within reach for salt in the eyes. You can leave the light or music on until you settle, then turn them off from inside. Hold your arms out for the first 20–30 seconds to stop bobbing, then let go. It takes a few tries — the first 20 minutes are usually your mind winding down. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to shower and get oriented.
