The tanks & rooms here
The classic enclosed capsule with a hinged lid. Deepest sensory deprivation; you lie down and pull the lid to.
A walk-in enclosure with full standing height — for taller floaters and anyone who wants privacy without a low lid.
The room itself is the vessel: no hatch, walk straight in. Great for claustrophobia and easier access.
Water & cleaning at Floatopia
Sanitation is the thing seasoned floaters care about most, and most directories never show it. Between every float, the salt water should be pumped through fine filtration and disinfected — salt alone is not enough. From Floatopia's own information: down to a 5-micron filter, UV sterilization, ozone, hydrogen peroxide.

Fantastic experience! My Girlfriend and I decided to try and give floating a try, needless to say we will definitely be returning! We were greeted with fantastic hospitality and showed our float rooms. Everything was clearly explained from something as simple as procedure to how to operate the lights etc.
Last Friday, my daughter and I went to Floatopia for our first ever, float. What a fabulous experience! Melinda has created an inviting atmosphere that certainly promotes serenity & well being! The spa is spotless and extremely comfortable. A place where you can leave your concerns at the door and just be at ease!
Fantastic Float Spa! As a Yoga Teacher/Wellness Coach of 15 years, I always seek different ways to practice meditation to share with my students and floating is my favorite! The water naturally hugs your body into the parasympathetic nervous system for rest and digest. It’s a great Somatic practice too.
Your first float at Floatopia
Never floated before? Almost no one has their first time, and a good center expects it. Here's what to know. What it is: you float effortlessly in about ten inches of skin-temperature water saturated with around 1,000 lbs of Epsom salt — so dense you cannot sink. In the dark and quiet, with no light, sound, or gravity to react to, your nervous system downshifts. Before you come: don't shave or wax for a day beforehand (salt stings fresh cuts — they'll have barrier ointment if you nick yourself), skip caffeine, eat a light meal an hour or two before, and remove contacts. If you colored your hair recently, wait a few days. In the tank: shower first, put earplugs in before you get wet, and keep a fresh-water spray bottle within reach for salt in the eyes. You can leave the light or music on until you settle, then turn them off from inside. Hold your arms out for the first 20–30 seconds to stop bobbing, then let go. It takes a few tries — the first 20 minutes are usually your mind winding down. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to shower and get oriented.
