The tanks & rooms here
No lid to close over you — the answer for anyone who feels boxed in. Open pools, open rooms, or pods whose door stays open.
The classic enclosed capsule with a hinged lid. Deepest sensory deprivation; you lie down and pull the lid to.
A walk-in enclosure with full standing height — for taller floaters and anyone who wants privacy without a low lid.
A room-sized open pool of salt water. Zero enclosure, easiest for two, most spacious of all.
Water & cleaning at Float SNJ
Sanitation is the thing seasoned floaters care about most, and most directories never show it. Between every float, the salt water should be pumped through fine filtration and disinfected — salt alone is not enough. From Float SNJ's own information: down to a 5-micron filter, UV sterilization, ozone, hydrogen peroxide.

From the reviews
Floating is very relaxing, and enjoyable to do it with someone you love. I did a couples float with my boyfriend, and it felt like a whole different world when you walked in the place. I recommend this place 100% especially if your body hurts or you’re stressed out and just want to relax and enjoy the floating. 10/10
Today I had my first float at FLOAT and what a wonderful and soothing experience it was! Tom thanks for taking the time to meet and greet me upon entering the place. After my float, I felt rejuvenated with a sense of calmness followed by peace. Rest assured, I'll be back again!
Float SNJ was amazing! I did my first float in the Zen pool and also used the Harmonia Wave for 15 minutes before my float and the experience was like no other. Relaxing, therapeutic, healing, peaceful and overall bliss!
I went to Float SNJ for my first float today and it was AMAZING! I wish I had not waited so long to try it but better late than never! After about 15 minutes of floating with the lights and sounds on, I decided to go completely dark and silent. It was awesome! I felt so calm. Just hearing my own heartbeat was relaxing.
Your first float at Float SNJ
Never floated before? Almost no one has their first time, and a good center expects it. Here's what to know. What it is: you float effortlessly in about ten inches of skin-temperature water saturated with around 1,000 lbs of Epsom salt — so dense you cannot sink. In the dark and quiet, with no light, sound, or gravity to react to, your nervous system downshifts. Before you come: don't shave or wax for a day beforehand (salt stings fresh cuts — they'll have barrier ointment if you nick yourself), skip caffeine, eat a light meal an hour or two before, and remove contacts. If you colored your hair recently, wait a few days. In the tank: shower first, put earplugs in before you get wet, and keep a fresh-water spray bottle within reach for salt in the eyes. You can leave the light or music on until you settle, then turn them off from inside. Hold your arms out for the first 20–30 seconds to stop bobbing, then let go. It takes a few tries — the first 20 minutes are usually your mind winding down. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to shower and get oriented.
