Water & cleaning at Epiros Wellness
Sanitation is the thing seasoned floaters care about most, and most directories never show it. Between every float, the salt water should be pumped through fine filtration and disinfected — salt alone is not enough. From Epiros Wellness's own information: down to a 5-micron filter, UV sterilization, ozone.

From the reviews
Grateful to have found a home for healing on many levels with these specific therapies selected by the knowledgeable and gifted owners. I have found floating to be relaxing and restorative, and the RASHA therapy has enhanced my connection with myself, my intuition and the scalar frequencies are so uniquely powerful it…
Absolutely loved my experience at Epiros Wellness! The atmosphere was so welcoming and relaxing, and Nola and Rita were incredibly knowledgeable and attentive. Each treatment felt tailored just for me, especially the Float Therapy truly a unique way to unwind. I left feeling rejuvenated and refreshed.
Stressed out & busy with the daily grind of life, I was searching for a way to relax. After researching, I decided I wanted to try a float tank. Now it was time to find a place. After researching more, I decided to give Epiros a call given their great reviews. Between Rita and Nola the customer service was fantastic!
I wanted to try float therapy and chose Epiros for the variety of healing modalities and all the 5 star reviews. It was an amazing experience from start to finish. Everything was explained in detail, I did not feel rushed (enjoyed tea in a recliner afterwards!). The center is immaculate and the ambiance soothing.
Your first float at Epiros Wellness
Never floated before? Almost no one has their first time, and a good center expects it. Here's what to know. What it is: you float effortlessly in about ten inches of skin-temperature water saturated with around 1,000 lbs of Epsom salt — so dense you cannot sink. In the dark and quiet, with no light, sound, or gravity to react to, your nervous system downshifts. Before you come: don't shave or wax for a day beforehand (salt stings fresh cuts — they'll have barrier ointment if you nick yourself), skip caffeine, eat a light meal an hour or two before, and remove contacts. If you colored your hair recently, wait a few days. In the tank: shower first, put earplugs in before you get wet, and keep a fresh-water spray bottle within reach for salt in the eyes. You can leave the light or music on until you settle, then turn them off from inside. Hold your arms out for the first 20–30 seconds to stop bobbing, then let go. It takes a few tries — the first 20 minutes are usually your mind winding down. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to shower and get oriented.
