The tanks & rooms here
No lid to close over you — the answer for anyone who feels boxed in. Open pools, open rooms, or pods whose door stays open.
The classic enclosed capsule with a hinged lid. Deepest sensory deprivation; you lie down and pull the lid to.
The room itself is the vessel: no hatch, walk straight in. Great for claustrophobia and easier access.
A room-sized open pool of salt water. Zero enclosure, easiest for two, most spacious of all.

From the reviews
I had the most incredible experience at City Cave. I did a sauna session, a float, and a Swedish massage and every single service was perfect. The entire place is spotless, and the staff is absolutely immaculate. They make you feel taken care of from the moment you walk in.
I had a lovely experience at City Cave during my recent visit! I booked an hour in their floating pool with my husband, and it was pure bliss from start to finish. The staff were welcoming and made me feel completely at ease, explaining everything clearly before I began.
This was such a cool experience! From beginning to end the process was easy and more relaxing than I ever expected. I have wanted to try floating for years but I never did because I was always nervous about being closed in the pod. I was able to do this one without any hesitation because it is an open float pool...
I had an amazing 40th birthday at City Cave. It was clean, calm, and smelled great. Hailey at the front desk was very nice and answered all my questions. Book a massage with Shanice, and you will not regret it! Go for the triple with sauna, float, and massage and you will leave refreshed and feeling amazing
Your first float at City Cave Southlake Spa
Never floated before? Almost no one has their first time, and a good center expects it. Here's what to know. What it is: you float effortlessly in about ten inches of skin-temperature water saturated with around 1,000 lbs of Epsom salt — so dense you cannot sink. In the dark and quiet, with no light, sound, or gravity to react to, your nervous system downshifts. Before you come: don't shave or wax for a day beforehand (salt stings fresh cuts — they'll have barrier ointment if you nick yourself), skip caffeine, eat a light meal an hour or two before, and remove contacts. If you colored your hair recently, wait a few days. In the tank: shower first, put earplugs in before you get wet, and keep a fresh-water spray bottle within reach for salt in the eyes. You can leave the light or music on until you settle, then turn them off from inside. Hold your arms out for the first 20–30 seconds to stop bobbing, then let go. It takes a few tries — the first 20 minutes are usually your mind winding down. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to shower and get oriented.
