The tanks & rooms here
No lid to close over you — the answer for anyone who feels boxed in. Open pools, open rooms, or pods whose door stays open.
A walk-in enclosure with full standing height — for taller floaters and anyone who wants privacy without a low lid.
The room itself is the vessel: no hatch, walk straight in. Great for claustrophobia and easier access.
Water & cleaning at Altered States Wellness – Glade Parks
Sanitation is the thing seasoned floaters care about most, and most directories never show it. Between every float, the salt water should be pumped through fine filtration and disinfected — salt alone is not enough. From Altered States Wellness – Glade Parks's own information: UV sterilization, ozone.

What floaters say
“my partner and i came here to unwind and decompress and we were more than impressed, we did the couples package and it was such a relaxing and healing time for both of us.”
“After I was lifted up to my mountaintop in the brain tap meditation and massaged into a happy pile of mush, I floated over to the oasis float room.”
From the reviews
I floated her with my mom last month. I injured my toe so no floating for a few months :( Brianna guided me to other options while my injury heals. I tried the red light bed (LOVED and cannot wait for speakers to be working) and the massage chair. The massage was VERY powerful so choose it if you like firm pressure.
Time to relax, restore and rejuvenate, even to the point of fall asleep in the float tank, get the pain and inflation out with the PEMF mat and under the infrared light therapy or detox and develop healthy and radiant skin under the Infrared Saunas. Be healthy naturally by creating collagen in your body.
Holy relaxation! Today I stopped by for the lab and a float after an extended road trip. This was actually my first stop after arriving home. I planned ahead knowing how nice it is to unwind after a long drive. The massage chairs, PEMF and brain tap are my favorite combo in the lab.
This place is great!! It is truly a wellness wonderland. The general manger Brianna is amazing and there are so many different amenities. So far the salt cave and float tanks are my favorite but I can’t wait to come back and try everything else they have to offer!!
Your first float at Altered States Wellness – Glade Parks
Never floated before? Almost no one has their first time, and a good center expects it. Here's what to know. What it is: you float effortlessly in about ten inches of skin-temperature water saturated with around 1,000 lbs of Epsom salt — so dense you cannot sink. In the dark and quiet, with no light, sound, or gravity to react to, your nervous system downshifts. Before you come: don't shave or wax for a day beforehand (salt stings fresh cuts — they'll have barrier ointment if you nick yourself), skip caffeine, eat a light meal an hour or two before, and remove contacts. If you colored your hair recently, wait a few days. In the tank: shower first, put earplugs in before you get wet, and keep a fresh-water spray bottle within reach for salt in the eyes. You can leave the light or music on until you settle, then turn them off from inside. Hold your arms out for the first 20–30 seconds to stop bobbing, then let go. It takes a few tries — the first 20 minutes are usually your mind winding down. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to shower and get oriented.
