Water & cleaning at True REST Float Spa
Sanitation is the thing seasoned floaters care about most, and most directories never show it. Between every float, the salt water should be pumped through fine filtration and disinfected — salt alone is not enough. From True REST Float Spa's own information: down to a 5-micron filter, UV sterilization, ozone, hydrogen peroxide.

Great experience! Facility is clean and relaxing! The owner is friendly and helpful! We didn't know what to expect going in, but it was fantastic! There's a short video that explains the benefits of float therapy and positions to try. There's an oxygen bar at the end and you're able to select your scent.
My wife and I had an absolutely amazing experience at True REST Float Spa it was the perfect way to celebrate our anniversary. From the moment we walked in, the space felt peaceful, clean, and welcoming. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and made sure we felt comfortable every step of the way.
My first visit to True REST Float Spa was incredible. The spa was exceptionally clean, quiet, and relaxing. The float experience itself was amazing, I felt completely weightless, and by the end of the session, all my stress and tension had melted away. I left feeling refreshed, calm, and mentally recharged.
Entire staff was friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is so relaxing. I had no idea that floating would make me feel as good as it did so soon! I felt immediate relief in my legs, feet, back, and neck. Also being a man weighing over 300 pounds I was worried I wouldn’t float 😂 and I did!!!
Your first float at True REST Float Spa
Never floated before? Almost no one has their first time, and a good center expects it. Here's what to know. What it is: you float effortlessly in about ten inches of skin-temperature water saturated with around 1,000 lbs of Epsom salt — so dense you cannot sink. In the dark and quiet, with no light, sound, or gravity to react to, your nervous system downshifts. Before you come: don't shave or wax for a day beforehand (salt stings fresh cuts — they'll have barrier ointment if you nick yourself), skip caffeine, eat a light meal an hour or two before, and remove contacts. If you colored your hair recently, wait a few days. In the tank: shower first, put earplugs in before you get wet, and keep a fresh-water spray bottle within reach for salt in the eyes. You can leave the light or music on until you settle, then turn them off from inside. Hold your arms out for the first 20–30 seconds to stop bobbing, then let go. It takes a few tries — the first 20 minutes are usually your mind winding down. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to shower and get oriented.
