Water & cleaning at True REST Float Spa
Sanitation is the thing seasoned floaters care about most, and most directories never show it. Between every float, the salt water should be pumped through fine filtration and disinfected — salt alone is not enough. From True REST Float Spa's own information: down to a 5-micron filter, UV sterilization, ozone, hydrogen peroxide.

From the reviews
The spa is spotless, beautifully designed, and has such a calming atmosphere the moment you walk in. The float team was warm, welcoming, and walked me through everything with such care that it made the whole experience even more enjoyable.
I had the most incredible experience at True REST Float Spa in Stone Oak today, and I couldn't be more thrilled to give it a 5-star review! As a first-time floater, I was welcomed with warmth and hospitality by the owner, Jay.
Jay was awesome from the minute we walked in! Super clean environment throughout the entire facility and the customer service is top notch!! And they even have a massage therapist, Mike, there onsite to give you a massage afterwards! And let me tell you, it is the perfect ending to a great relaxing float!
My wife and I were out in San Antonio visiting family and decided to give floating a try. Luckily, True Rest Float Spa was in the neighborhood and had excellent reviews. Parking: The plaza itself gave me the impression that there was still more to come as there was more than enough parking.
Your first float at True REST Float Spa
Never floated before? Almost no one has their first time, and a good center expects it. Here's what to know. What it is: you float effortlessly in about ten inches of skin-temperature water saturated with around 1,000 lbs of Epsom salt — so dense you cannot sink. In the dark and quiet, with no light, sound, or gravity to react to, your nervous system downshifts. Before you come: don't shave or wax for a day beforehand (salt stings fresh cuts — they'll have barrier ointment if you nick yourself), skip caffeine, eat a light meal an hour or two before, and remove contacts. If you colored your hair recently, wait a few days. In the tank: shower first, put earplugs in before you get wet, and keep a fresh-water spray bottle within reach for salt in the eyes. You can leave the light or music on until you settle, then turn them off from inside. Hold your arms out for the first 20–30 seconds to stop bobbing, then let go. It takes a few tries — the first 20 minutes are usually your mind winding down. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to shower and get oriented.
