No lid to close over you — the answer for anyone who feels boxed in. Open pools, open rooms, or pods whose door stays open.
The classic enclosed capsule with a hinged lid. Deepest sensory deprivation; you lie down and pull the lid to.
Water & cleaning at True REST Float Spa
Sanitation is the thing seasoned floaters care about most, and most directories never show it. Between every float, the salt water should be pumped through fine filtration and disinfected — salt alone is not enough. From True REST Float Spa's own information: down to a 5-micron filter, UV sterilization, ozone, hydrogen peroxide.

From the reviews
Thoroughly enjoyed my first float experience. No reason to bring anything, they have you covered! I do recommend your own hairbrush and shower shoes. Cold days call for socks and shoes, but a need to shower afterwards calls for shoes to slip on until you can get dry feet to slip those socks and shoes back on.
If you are looking for a day to relax in your own space, get into a pod at Tru Float Spa. We did arrive 30 minutes prior to our scheduled time, and they were eager to assist regardless of the time. The business was very clean and had a relaxed feeling to get.
I had a very great experience! This was my first time ever floating and Lorenzo was very caring and informative about everything. I will definitely be back! And will and already have recommended this place to everyone I know! Very professional and clean! Very Relaxing as soon as you walk through the front doors!
I was very apprehensive about floating in salt water in a closed pod. When I arrived at the True Rest spa, Lorenzo and his two understudies warmly welcomed me. Lorenzo explained the ful float process and clearly explained other details to enhance my experience.
Your first float at True REST Float Spa
Never floated before? Almost no one has their first time, and a good center expects it. Here's what to know. What it is: you float effortlessly in about ten inches of skin-temperature water saturated with around 1,000 lbs of Epsom salt — so dense you cannot sink. In the dark and quiet, with no light, sound, or gravity to react to, your nervous system downshifts. Before you come: don't shave or wax for a day beforehand (salt stings fresh cuts — they'll have barrier ointment if you nick yourself), skip caffeine, eat a light meal an hour or two before, and remove contacts. If you colored your hair recently, wait a few days. In the tank: shower first, put earplugs in before you get wet, and keep a fresh-water spray bottle within reach for salt in the eyes. You can leave the light or music on until you settle, then turn them off from inside. Hold your arms out for the first 20–30 seconds to stop bobbing, then let go. It takes a few tries — the first 20 minutes are usually your mind winding down. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to shower and get oriented.
