Water & cleaning at Transitions Wellness and Performance Center
Sanitation is the thing seasoned floaters care about most, and most directories never show it. Between every float, the salt water should be pumped through fine filtration and disinfected — salt alone is not enough. From Transitions Wellness and Performance Center's own information: UV sterilization, ozone, hydrogen peroxide.

From the reviews
Transitions Float Studio is truly a special place, and I feel genuinely grateful that something like this exists here. My husband and I did the sauna, cold plunge, and float therapy, and the entire experience was outstanding, and deeply calming, grounding, and restorative.
Fantastic place to come relax, decompress, and enjoy. The energy is amazing! They have a plethora of options from cold plunging to float to salt cave, hyperbaric chamber, saunas and more to choose from! They are also extremely clean! Definitely a must try - you will not be disappointed!
Found this place online and all I can say is it was absolutely worth the drive! The space was clean, the staff was friendly, and the overall atmosphere was very welcoming. I decided to try the salt float bath due to some back pain and stiffness, and it exceeded my expectations.
These have become staples of my longevity routine. The hyperbaric oxygen chamber is a game-changer for recovering from vigorous exercise—my brain feels incredibly sharp the next day. For my joints, ankles, and knees, nothing beats the healing effects of a salt float.
Your first float at Transitions Wellness and Performance Center
Never floated before? Almost no one has their first time, and a good center expects it. Here's what to know. What it is: you float effortlessly in about ten inches of skin-temperature water saturated with around 1,000 lbs of Epsom salt — so dense you cannot sink. In the dark and quiet, with no light, sound, or gravity to react to, your nervous system downshifts. Before you come: don't shave or wax for a day beforehand (salt stings fresh cuts — they'll have barrier ointment if you nick yourself), skip caffeine, eat a light meal an hour or two before, and remove contacts. If you colored your hair recently, wait a few days. In the tank: shower first, put earplugs in before you get wet, and keep a fresh-water spray bottle within reach for salt in the eyes. You can leave the light or music on until you settle, then turn them off from inside. Hold your arms out for the first 20–30 seconds to stop bobbing, then let go. It takes a few tries — the first 20 minutes are usually your mind winding down. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to shower and get oriented.
