The room itself is the vessel: no hatch, walk straight in. Great for claustrophobia and easier access.
Water & cleaning at The Movement Shop
Sanitation is the thing seasoned floaters care about most, and most directories never show it. Between every float, the salt water should be pumped through fine filtration and disinfected — salt alone is not enough. From The Movement Shop's own information: hydrogen peroxide.

The most amazing thing I have don’t in a long time! From making the appointment to the message and the float therapy it was excellent service! Can’t wait to go back! If you are in pain or if you are stressed believe me it’s well worth the amount of money you will put into it compared to what you will get out of it!
Was super skeptical at first having tinnitus and being in a quiet float tank. The first what felt like 10ish minutes I was trying to figure out how to shut my mind down and relax my arms but after a little bit I drifted off to sleep completely weightless.

I had to write this review because Dr. Jesse Davenport at The Movement Shop is absolutely incredible. I hurt my back recently and was in so much pain I could barely walk. Honestly, it was scary. I’m usually pretty active and healthy, so being suddenly unable to move was terrifying.
Your first float at The Movement Shop
Never floated before? Almost no one has their first time, and a good center expects it. Here's what to know. What it is: you float effortlessly in about ten inches of skin-temperature water saturated with around 1,000 lbs of Epsom salt — so dense you cannot sink. In the dark and quiet, with no light, sound, or gravity to react to, your nervous system downshifts. Before you come: don't shave or wax for a day beforehand (salt stings fresh cuts — they'll have barrier ointment if you nick yourself), skip caffeine, eat a light meal an hour or two before, and remove contacts. If you colored your hair recently, wait a few days. In the tank: shower first, put earplugs in before you get wet, and keep a fresh-water spray bottle within reach for salt in the eyes. You can leave the light or music on until you settle, then turn them off from inside. Hold your arms out for the first 20–30 seconds to stop bobbing, then let go. It takes a few tries — the first 20 minutes are usually your mind winding down. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to shower and get oriented.
