Exceptionally friendly staff, easy parking, and the cleanest environment. I did a private salt room and sauna experience, and will try the soak next time. The owner was kind enough to show me the sensory deprivation pods and how they work, which alleviated anxiety I might have had in using them during my next visit.
I can’t say enough nice things about this business. The staff is professional and friendly. The float tank was an amazing experience. I was able to relax and contemplate deeper on the merits of being appreciative of life - it’s ups and downs, and how my role as an individual impacts the lives of others between my…
Highly recommend! I have been here 2 times and have loved it each time. Both visits were to the salt spa with a small group. The salt spa is very relaxing and peaceful. Karen, at the front desk, is very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. For my husband’s birthday I got him the salt spa / float package.
This place is amazing! If you are looking for a relaxing environment, this is it! They have the salt rooms (they have a salt room for children too), float pod, infrared sauna. They also have a massage therapist you can book with separately. The owner Karen is sweet and so helpful.
Your first float at Serenity Salt Spa
Never floated before? Almost no one has their first time, and a good center expects it. Here's what to know. What it is: you float effortlessly in about ten inches of skin-temperature water saturated with around 1,000 lbs of Epsom salt — so dense you cannot sink. In the dark and quiet, with no light, sound, or gravity to react to, your nervous system downshifts. Before you come: don't shave or wax for a day beforehand (salt stings fresh cuts — they'll have barrier ointment if you nick yourself), skip caffeine, eat a light meal an hour or two before, and remove contacts. If you colored your hair recently, wait a few days. In the tank: shower first, put earplugs in before you get wet, and keep a fresh-water spray bottle within reach for salt in the eyes. You can leave the light or music on until you settle, then turn them off from inside. Hold your arms out for the first 20–30 seconds to stop bobbing, then let go. It takes a few tries — the first 20 minutes are usually your mind winding down. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to shower and get oriented.
