The tanks & rooms here
The classic enclosed capsule with a hinged lid. Deepest sensory deprivation; you lie down and pull the lid to.
A walk-in enclosure with full standing height — for taller floaters and anyone who wants privacy without a low lid.

What an incredible experience! I’ve been to a handful of float tanks before but this one was by far my favorite: first of all you have more privacy than most (private room for changing, with your own shower, float accessories etc), and the tank itself was quite huge: an entire room you can even stand up in (they do…
Came here for my first float. Very nice place. Very nice guy working who gave me some tips to start. Felt like a very Welcoming environment. I enjoyed my float, was relaxing and very peaceful. Really stoked they are open late as I work a lot so this is convenient since I come down from the Mountains.
Sitting here enjoying the post float bliss. It's difficult for me to relax my brain, and this was the perfect medicine. I'd recommend coming with the intention to chill, just relax, and let your brain float away! Great first experience, birthday gift off Groupon, and well worth it.
Receptionist (forgot name, but he was wearing the GloFx glasses) was very helpful as this was my first time to float. Explained everything and was very hospitable. Great experience, would highly recommend! If 6 feet or taller, make sure to get the float cabin, not float pod.
Your first float at Samana Float Center
Never floated before? Almost no one has their first time, and a good center expects it. Here's what to know. What it is: you float effortlessly in about ten inches of skin-temperature water saturated with around 1,000 lbs of Epsom salt — so dense you cannot sink. In the dark and quiet, with no light, sound, or gravity to react to, your nervous system downshifts. Before you come: don't shave or wax for a day beforehand (salt stings fresh cuts — they'll have barrier ointment if you nick yourself), skip caffeine, eat a light meal an hour or two before, and remove contacts. If you colored your hair recently, wait a few days. In the tank: shower first, put earplugs in before you get wet, and keep a fresh-water spray bottle within reach for salt in the eyes. You can leave the light or music on until you settle, then turn them off from inside. Hold your arms out for the first 20–30 seconds to stop bobbing, then let go. It takes a few tries — the first 20 minutes are usually your mind winding down. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to shower and get oriented.
