Water & cleaning at Back in a Flash Chiropractic and Massage
Sanitation is the thing seasoned floaters care about most, and most directories never show it. Between every float, the salt water should be pumped through fine filtration and disinfected — salt alone is not enough. From Back in a Flash Chiropractic and Massage's own information: filters the full tank 3× between floats, down to a 10-micron filter.

Great place! I just visited for my first float session and everything about the experience was so wonderful. Super easy to book online, friendly and helpful staff when I arrived, and nice clean space. I will absolutely be back again!!
The saltwater deprivation chamber was a great way to clear my head. It was such a great experience and I have recommended it to everyone. I even got contacted by their friendly staff to give me the rules a couple and answered any questions a few days before my appointment.
Upon entering I was greeted with friendliness and a smile. I did the float therapy and then had an adjustment. The float therapy was super relaxing. David did an excellent job with the chiropractic adjustment. He was gentle but also could apply firm pressure to achieve the adjustment I needed.
Back In a Flash is the best place in Denver to get a chiropractic adjustement, float tank session and massage. I've been going to Back in a Flash for a while and like to get the "triple threat" which is a chiropractic adjustment, massage, and deprivation tank session all in one day! Dr.
Your first float at Back in a Flash Chiropractic and Massage
Never floated before? Almost no one has their first time, and a good center expects it. Here's what to know. What it is: you float effortlessly in about ten inches of skin-temperature water saturated with around 1,000 lbs of Epsom salt — so dense you cannot sink. In the dark and quiet, with no light, sound, or gravity to react to, your nervous system downshifts. Before you come: don't shave or wax for a day beforehand (salt stings fresh cuts — they'll have barrier ointment if you nick yourself), skip caffeine, eat a light meal an hour or two before, and remove contacts. If you colored your hair recently, wait a few days. In the tank: shower first, put earplugs in before you get wet, and keep a fresh-water spray bottle within reach for salt in the eyes. You can leave the light or music on until you settle, then turn them off from inside. Hold your arms out for the first 20–30 seconds to stop bobbing, then let go. It takes a few tries — the first 20 minutes are usually your mind winding down. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to shower and get oriented.
