Water & cleaning at Riviera Spa - North Dallas
Sanitation is the thing seasoned floaters care about most, and most directories never show it. Between every float, the salt water should be pumped through fine filtration and disinfected — salt alone is not enough. From Riviera Spa - North Dallas's own information: down to a 1-micron filter, UV sterilization, ozone.

THIS WAS EVERYTHING CHICHI SAID IT WOULD BE! When i arrived ChiChi greeting me at the door and eased my first time jitters. The spa is super clean, smells nice, and the rain sounds while floating felt way too real! i loved every min of it will definitely be back <3
My sis in law gave me a gift certificate to this spa for Christmas, since it was nearby and got good reviews. Now I'm getting facials every 3 months, with the goal to brighten my skin. Valerie is an excellent Esthetician, with each visit she evaluates what services would be best and makes recommendations.
From how easy and pleasant it was to make my appointment to the absolutely wonderful staff member so friendly and considerate and helpful courteous pleasant inviting just absolutely amazing Chi Chi Akujobi. I will absolutely be returning and recommend your company based on my experience.
I visited Riviera Spa during a girls' trip to Dallas, where my friend scheduled massages for all of us. When we first arrived, we sat in the waiting room and were offered complimentary mimosas or champagne; we opted for champagne. While waiting, we decided to ask for robes.
Your first float at Riviera Spa - North Dallas
Never floated before? Almost no one has their first time, and a good center expects it. Here's what to know. What it is: you float effortlessly in about ten inches of skin-temperature water saturated with around 1,000 lbs of Epsom salt — so dense you cannot sink. In the dark and quiet, with no light, sound, or gravity to react to, your nervous system downshifts. Before you come: don't shave or wax for a day beforehand (salt stings fresh cuts — they'll have barrier ointment if you nick yourself), skip caffeine, eat a light meal an hour or two before, and remove contacts. If you colored your hair recently, wait a few days. In the tank: shower first, put earplugs in before you get wet, and keep a fresh-water spray bottle within reach for salt in the eyes. You can leave the light or music on until you settle, then turn them off from inside. Hold your arms out for the first 20–30 seconds to stop bobbing, then let go. It takes a few tries — the first 20 minutes are usually your mind winding down. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to shower and get oriented.
