The tanks & rooms here
No lid to close over you — the answer for anyone who feels boxed in. Open pools, open rooms, or pods whose door stays open.
The classic enclosed capsule with a hinged lid. Deepest sensory deprivation; you lie down and pull the lid to.
A walk-in enclosure with full standing height — for taller floaters and anyone who wants privacy without a low lid.
The room itself is the vessel: no hatch, walk straight in. Great for claustrophobia and easier access.

From the reviews
I have floated here four times so far and it has been a journey. My first three floats I was too focused on quieting my mind which didn’t serve me. I was getting frustrated reading raving reviews and wondering why couldn’t I experience the zen/breakthrough experience most people do.
I floated years ago but never floated again after. This is my first time coming to rise above and what a different experience from what I remember from the past. What made all the difference for me was the host Michelle.
I LOVE Rise Above Floatation! It is so worth the drive! For a beginner, I recommend the 1 hr float because you get to see if you like it, and if you don't, you aren't in there for that long. There are 3 different options. I personally like the wide float bath. Advice for a beginner/first timer: -Don't wear clothing.
This experience was magical, different, and so peaceful. Starting with the best massage I’ve ever gotten and then continuing with the 60 minute float. I’ve never done a float before and wasn’t sure how I’d respond but it ended up being such a time of reflection, calm, and respite. I will definitely be back!
Your first float at Rise Above Floatation
Never floated before? Almost no one has their first time, and a good center expects it. Here's what to know. What it is: you float effortlessly in about ten inches of skin-temperature water saturated with around 1,000 lbs of Epsom salt — so dense you cannot sink. In the dark and quiet, with no light, sound, or gravity to react to, your nervous system downshifts. Before you come: don't shave or wax for a day beforehand (salt stings fresh cuts — they'll have barrier ointment if you nick yourself), skip caffeine, eat a light meal an hour or two before, and remove contacts. If you colored your hair recently, wait a few days. In the tank: shower first, put earplugs in before you get wet, and keep a fresh-water spray bottle within reach for salt in the eyes. You can leave the light or music on until you settle, then turn them off from inside. Hold your arms out for the first 20–30 seconds to stop bobbing, then let go. It takes a few tries — the first 20 minutes are usually your mind winding down. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to shower and get oriented.
