First time trying the float pod, and I absolutely loved it! The experience was so relaxing and unlike anything I’ve tried before. I followed it with a one-hour massage, which was hands down one of the best I’ve ever had. Both services were incredible and left me feeling completely renewed.
I had an amazing float experience. I was actually able to completely relax and even fall asleep while floating. That’s how relaxing it was. The decor is beautiful. I love that they have doTERRA oils. Panda Bears are my favorite and I loved seeing them everywhere. The stars in the float made the perfect atmosphere.
My boyfriend took me here to relax after work and it was amazing. The float was such a cool experience. The front desk gal was super helpful and sweet. Our massage therapists were also fabulous, Helen and Tara. Listened to my focus areas and very strong hands, we did the hot stones too and that was a nice touch.
My first time trying the float, and it was an incredible experience. I was a little nervous closing the pod, and was able to slowly close it at my own pace. After 15 mins I was able to fully escape reality! Tara gave me a massage after my 1 hour float, and it was the perfect pairing.
Your first float at Massage Float Spa 19
Never floated before? Almost no one has their first time, and a good center expects it. Here's what to know. What it is: you float effortlessly in about ten inches of skin-temperature water saturated with around 1,000 lbs of Epsom salt — so dense you cannot sink. In the dark and quiet, with no light, sound, or gravity to react to, your nervous system downshifts. Before you come: don't shave or wax for a day beforehand (salt stings fresh cuts — they'll have barrier ointment if you nick yourself), skip caffeine, eat a light meal an hour or two before, and remove contacts. If you colored your hair recently, wait a few days. In the tank: shower first, put earplugs in before you get wet, and keep a fresh-water spray bottle within reach for salt in the eyes. You can leave the light or music on until you settle, then turn them off from inside. Hold your arms out for the first 20–30 seconds to stop bobbing, then let go. It takes a few tries — the first 20 minutes are usually your mind winding down. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to shower and get oriented.
