The tanks & rooms here
The classic enclosed capsule with a hinged lid. Deepest sensory deprivation; you lie down and pull the lid to.
The room itself is the vessel: no hatch, walk straight in. Great for claustrophobia and easier access.
Water & cleaning at Floating Lotus Wellness Center
Sanitation is the thing seasoned floaters care about most, and most directories never show it. Between every float, the salt water should be pumped through fine filtration and disinfected — salt alone is not enough. From Floating Lotus Wellness Center's own information: down to a 10-micron filter, UV sterilization, ozone, hydrogen peroxide.

Spa day just got upgraded!! I just had my first float and I am pretty sure everyone needs to try it, no matter the reason! This place was so nice! The vibes are chill, they're professional, friendly, and the place is super clean. There are showers right in your room. The experience was so extraordinary.
Absolutely loved my experience at the float spa! From the moment I walked in, the environment was serene and welcoming. The staff were friendly and informative, making me feel at ease as a first-timer.
The best float in utah by far. They've really put a lot of thought into the entire experience so that your stay is comfortable.
I have an incredibly hard time allowing myself to relax. My therapist kept telling me to work on self care and meditation and so I decided to try this sensory deprivation technique of floating, and it really helped me do both! Tyson was so welcoming and kind as he answered my many questions.
Your first float at Floating Lotus Wellness Center
Never floated before? Almost no one has their first time, and a good center expects it. Here's what to know. What it is: you float effortlessly in about ten inches of skin-temperature water saturated with around 1,000 lbs of Epsom salt — so dense you cannot sink. In the dark and quiet, with no light, sound, or gravity to react to, your nervous system downshifts. Before you come: don't shave or wax for a day beforehand (salt stings fresh cuts — they'll have barrier ointment if you nick yourself), skip caffeine, eat a light meal an hour or two before, and remove contacts. If you colored your hair recently, wait a few days. In the tank: shower first, put earplugs in before you get wet, and keep a fresh-water spray bottle within reach for salt in the eyes. You can leave the light or music on until you settle, then turn them off from inside. Hold your arms out for the first 20–30 seconds to stop bobbing, then let go. It takes a few tries — the first 20 minutes are usually your mind winding down. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to shower and get oriented.
