The tanks & rooms here
A walk-in enclosure with full standing height — for taller floaters and anyone who wants privacy without a low lid.
The room itself is the vessel: no hatch, walk straight in. Great for claustrophobia and easier access.

From the reviews
I ALWAYS leave so relaxed and feeling GREAT. Weather it's from Floating or a deep massage from Michael, it is always a wonderful experience. I have floated and had 2 massages. I will be booking again soon and cannot wait. HIGHLY recommend treating yourself. We get so busy we forget to take care of ourselves...
I am a true believer in wellness therapy, so I visit here often. Highly recommend if you’ve never tried an infra red sauna, or salt float. I always feel leaving detoxed, relaxed, and renewed. Cold plunging also never got easier!
So I enjoyed my first float yesterday at Flōtstone Spa. Until I was in there I didn’t realize how much tension I was carrying in my shoulders. What a big relief following the session and still the next day! The float was relaxing but the benefits after were amazing! Would highly recommend if you have never experienced!
A Relaxing Oasis - Flotstone in Lake Bluff is a Must-Try! My wife and I had an absolutely delightful experience at Flotstone in Lake Bluff today. Under new ownership, this place has truly stepped up its game. We indulged in a couples float session, and it was nothing short of rejuvenating.
Your first float at Flotstone Spa
Never floated before? Almost no one has their first time, and a good center expects it. Here's what to know. What it is: you float effortlessly in about ten inches of skin-temperature water saturated with around 1,000 lbs of Epsom salt — so dense you cannot sink. In the dark and quiet, with no light, sound, or gravity to react to, your nervous system downshifts. Before you come: don't shave or wax for a day beforehand (salt stings fresh cuts — they'll have barrier ointment if you nick yourself), skip caffeine, eat a light meal an hour or two before, and remove contacts. If you colored your hair recently, wait a few days. In the tank: shower first, put earplugs in before you get wet, and keep a fresh-water spray bottle within reach for salt in the eyes. You can leave the light or music on until you settle, then turn them off from inside. Hold your arms out for the first 20–30 seconds to stop bobbing, then let go. It takes a few tries — the first 20 minutes are usually your mind winding down. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to shower and get oriented.
