⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Float Away Wellness Spa is a stunning new addition to the area and delivers a truly luxurious wellness experience. The atmosphere is serene, beautifully designed, and immediately calming. Justin, the owner, is professional, attentive, and clearly dedicated to providing exceptional care.
VT Float Away – Highly Recommended As someone whose brain never turns off, this experience pushed me way out of my comfort zone—in all the right ways. I can honestly say this is the most time I’ve ever truly spent with myself. I started with the vibro massage, and I loved it.
Thank you Justin from Float Away for the fantastic experience. My wife (partner) and I recently had a chance to go to Float Away for both their 30 minutes vibroacoustic bed and the 60-float experience. It was what we had needed and what we had been missing.
What a lovely and relaxing experience! I loved the vibro acoustic room because the music and mechanical massaging bed totally relaxed me. The Epsom salt water float tank, shower, heated towels was also a relaxing experience. Everything is private, and Justin is so nice and helps to make it the best he can for you.
Your first float at Float Away Wellness Spa
Never floated before? Almost no one has their first time, and a good center expects it. Here's what to know. What it is: you float effortlessly in about ten inches of skin-temperature water saturated with around 1,000 lbs of Epsom salt — so dense you cannot sink. In the dark and quiet, with no light, sound, or gravity to react to, your nervous system downshifts. Before you come: don't shave or wax for a day beforehand (salt stings fresh cuts — they'll have barrier ointment if you nick yourself), skip caffeine, eat a light meal an hour or two before, and remove contacts. If you colored your hair recently, wait a few days. In the tank: shower first, put earplugs in before you get wet, and keep a fresh-water spray bottle within reach for salt in the eyes. You can leave the light or music on until you settle, then turn them off from inside. Hold your arms out for the first 20–30 seconds to stop bobbing, then let go. It takes a few tries — the first 20 minutes are usually your mind winding down. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to shower and get oriented.
