The tanks & rooms here
The classic enclosed capsule with a hinged lid. Deepest sensory deprivation; you lie down and pull the lid to.
A walk-in enclosure with full standing height — for taller floaters and anyone who wants privacy without a low lid.
The room itself is the vessel: no hatch, walk straight in. Great for claustrophobia and easier access.
Water & cleaning at Flōte
Sanitation is the thing seasoned floaters care about most, and most directories never show it. Between every float, the salt water should be pumped through fine filtration and disinfected — salt alone is not enough. From Flōte's own information: down to a 10-micron filter, UV sterilization, hydrogen peroxide.

From the reviews
My first float was amazing, at about 5 months pregnant. I was pretty nervous - the idea of closing myself into a tank with water was slightly unnerving but the staff were so understanding (they must hear it a lot from first-timers!) and provided me with all the comfort I needed.
This place truly has it all in regards to your self-care needs. Floating allows me to meditate and take my mind off of any stress that my work or home life creates. It’s a completely new experience that is unlike anything I’ve ever had.
I can totally see the appeal of floating. The staff were friendly and the place was inviting. It was my first time so it took a bit to get used to. Unfortunately, my pod's water temperature had a malfunction and started to slowly cool down as my session went on.
I absolutely love these facilities. The floating is something I never thought I’d enjoy, but I ended up loving it and have been going as often as possible and even became a member. The staff are the nicest group of people, especially Tricia, Yaz, and Jackie.
Your first float at Flōte
Never floated before? Almost no one has their first time, and a good center expects it. Here's what to know. What it is: you float effortlessly in about ten inches of skin-temperature water saturated with around 1,000 lbs of Epsom salt — so dense you cannot sink. In the dark and quiet, with no light, sound, or gravity to react to, your nervous system downshifts. Before you come: don't shave or wax for a day beforehand (salt stings fresh cuts — they'll have barrier ointment if you nick yourself), skip caffeine, eat a light meal an hour or two before, and remove contacts. If you colored your hair recently, wait a few days. In the tank: shower first, put earplugs in before you get wet, and keep a fresh-water spray bottle within reach for salt in the eyes. You can leave the light or music on until you settle, then turn them off from inside. Hold your arms out for the first 20–30 seconds to stop bobbing, then let go. It takes a few tries — the first 20 minutes are usually your mind winding down. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to shower and get oriented.
