The tanks & rooms here
No lid to close over you — the answer for anyone who feels boxed in. Open pools, open rooms, or pods whose door stays open.
The classic enclosed capsule with a hinged lid. Deepest sensory deprivation; you lie down and pull the lid to.
A walk-in enclosure with full standing height — for taller floaters and anyone who wants privacy without a low lid.
The room itself is the vessel: no hatch, walk straight in. Great for claustrophobia and easier access.
Water & cleaning at Emerald Wellness & Bodywork
Sanitation is the thing seasoned floaters care about most, and most directories never show it. Between every float, the salt water should be pumped through fine filtration and disinfected — salt alone is not enough. From Emerald Wellness & Bodywork's own information: UV sterilization, ozone.

From the reviews
I had such an amazing experience and love the care that goes into the clients, it clearly shows at the beginning of your arrival. The float tank was the best rest I have had in months, and I was quite surprised of the size of the tank, for anyone wanting to experience this, I highly recommend it!
Came here while on business trip. Sheridan was well versed on every option at the facility (and there are many to choose from). The value is spot on and most importantly its super clean and comfortable. Very relaxing. The salt float is a game changer. Thank you!
This locally owned business is exactly why supporting our community matters. Their focus on integrity, healing, and treating the whole person truly sets them apart. The services were amazing, and the kindness behind the care meant more than I can say. Grateful for this place, highly recommend!
Amy and her team of providers really showed up and took care of my whole family. From the knowledge they provide to the friendliness we really felt very comfortable! The facility itself is beyond beautiful and very clean. Plus, you can’t beat these prices they offer!
Your first float at Emerald Wellness & Bodywork
Never floated before? Almost no one has their first time, and a good center expects it. Here's what to know. What it is: you float effortlessly in about ten inches of skin-temperature water saturated with around 1,000 lbs of Epsom salt — so dense you cannot sink. In the dark and quiet, with no light, sound, or gravity to react to, your nervous system downshifts. Before you come: don't shave or wax for a day beforehand (salt stings fresh cuts — they'll have barrier ointment if you nick yourself), skip caffeine, eat a light meal an hour or two before, and remove contacts. If you colored your hair recently, wait a few days. In the tank: shower first, put earplugs in before you get wet, and keep a fresh-water spray bottle within reach for salt in the eyes. You can leave the light or music on until you settle, then turn them off from inside. Hold your arms out for the first 20–30 seconds to stop bobbing, then let go. It takes a few tries — the first 20 minutes are usually your mind winding down. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to shower and get oriented.
