There are so many so-called spas these days but Eclipse is the real deal. I am not easily impressed and I absolutely love this place! The decor is lovely and the atmosphere is filled with good energy. The pod is in a private room with a shower. The session is for 1 hour.
Eclipse Cryo and Float was recommended to me 9 months ago to help in my recovery of a torn hip labrum. What an incredible find!!! In addition to speeding up my healing, cryotherapy has helped me sleep better, enhanced my emotional health, and has given me a great endorphin boost every time I complete a session.
I had a wonderful experience here. The staff is super welcoming and friendly-- I felt very comfortable right away. My first therapy was the float, which was a singular experience. The area was very clean and I was able to relax right away.
Such a lovely place to unwind and connect. You will never be rushed out. In fact if the owners feel you need a couple extra minutes of therapy? They will accommodate. They take care of their clients and provide such a fun, calm environment.
Your first float at Eclipse Cryo Float
Never floated before? Almost no one has their first time, and a good center expects it. Here's what to know. What it is: you float effortlessly in about ten inches of skin-temperature water saturated with around 1,000 lbs of Epsom salt — so dense you cannot sink. In the dark and quiet, with no light, sound, or gravity to react to, your nervous system downshifts. Before you come: don't shave or wax for a day beforehand (salt stings fresh cuts — they'll have barrier ointment if you nick yourself), skip caffeine, eat a light meal an hour or two before, and remove contacts. If you colored your hair recently, wait a few days. In the tank: shower first, put earplugs in before you get wet, and keep a fresh-water spray bottle within reach for salt in the eyes. You can leave the light or music on until you settle, then turn them off from inside. Hold your arms out for the first 20–30 seconds to stop bobbing, then let go. It takes a few tries — the first 20 minutes are usually your mind winding down. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to shower and get oriented.
