The tanks & rooms here
The classic enclosed capsule with a hinged lid. Deepest sensory deprivation; you lie down and pull the lid to.
A walk-in enclosure with full standing height — for taller floaters and anyone who wants privacy without a low lid.

Laura and her team go above and beyond to make you feel at home! And really go an extra mile to care about your health and well-being. They have an awesome supply of natural supplements. The red light bed, float tank, and sauna are also major perks of their wellness office!
I had an initial consultation with Compass Rose Health & Wellness of Bluffton and I was impressed with the facilities and the plan forward to review my upcoming lab work and receive a tailored plan for my wellness goals. They took their time to explain what to expect next and all the amazing offerings they provide.
Compass Rose is the ultimate destination for wellness! The services are exceptional, and the staff is incredibly welcoming and skilled. Thanks to the guidance of Laura, Lorie, and Leah, I feel better than I have in years. Highly recommend!
I can’t say enough about Laura and her team at Compass Rose! I started with Laura at her original office a few years ago. Now she has grown into her fabulous new facility with a great team and I feel truly blessed!
Your first float at Compass Rose Health & Wellness
Never floated before? Almost no one has their first time, and a good center expects it. Here's what to know. What it is: you float effortlessly in about ten inches of skin-temperature water saturated with around 1,000 lbs of Epsom salt — so dense you cannot sink. In the dark and quiet, with no light, sound, or gravity to react to, your nervous system downshifts. Before you come: don't shave or wax for a day beforehand (salt stings fresh cuts — they'll have barrier ointment if you nick yourself), skip caffeine, eat a light meal an hour or two before, and remove contacts. If you colored your hair recently, wait a few days. In the tank: shower first, put earplugs in before you get wet, and keep a fresh-water spray bottle within reach for salt in the eyes. You can leave the light or music on until you settle, then turn them off from inside. Hold your arms out for the first 20–30 seconds to stop bobbing, then let go. It takes a few tries — the first 20 minutes are usually your mind winding down. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to shower and get oriented.
