The room itself is the vessel: no hatch, walk straight in. Great for claustrophobia and easier access.

From the reviews
I did the float and thought the room was clean and organized. This was my 3rd time floating; the experience was always very relaxing and well worth it. After the float, there is a common area where you can sit/relax, journal, read, etc.; outside seating is also available to hang out.
Nothing like having a spa afternoon with your girl. We braved the fire and ice together. Not gonna lie I loved the fire vs the ice. I would definitely go back! I also want to try the float experience. Wellness for the body is key. Highly recommend.
What a cool place. We did a 1 hour float, and it was amazing. Will do it again. Lots of services offered. Friendly staff. Clean and chill. Bonus, there is a tea shop with food and a Mexican restaurant next door for nourishment after.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My experience at Capital Floats was exactly what my nervous system needed. The space feels clean, calm, and thoughtfully designed. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and safe. The float session helped me deeply relax and reconnect with myself. I left feeling grounded, clear, and physically lighter.
Your first float at Capitol Floats Auburn
Never floated before? Almost no one has their first time, and a good center expects it. Here's what to know. What it is: you float effortlessly in about ten inches of skin-temperature water saturated with around 1,000 lbs of Epsom salt — so dense you cannot sink. In the dark and quiet, with no light, sound, or gravity to react to, your nervous system downshifts. Before you come: don't shave or wax for a day beforehand (salt stings fresh cuts — they'll have barrier ointment if you nick yourself), skip caffeine, eat a light meal an hour or two before, and remove contacts. If you colored your hair recently, wait a few days. In the tank: shower first, put earplugs in before you get wet, and keep a fresh-water spray bottle within reach for salt in the eyes. You can leave the light or music on until you settle, then turn them off from inside. Hold your arms out for the first 20–30 seconds to stop bobbing, then let go. It takes a few tries — the first 20 minutes are usually your mind winding down. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to shower and get oriented.
