Water & cleaning at True REST Float Spa
Sanitation is the thing seasoned floaters care about most, and most directories never show it. Between every float, the salt water should be pumped through fine filtration and disinfected — salt alone is not enough. From True REST Float Spa's own information: down to a 5-micron filter, UV sterilization, ozone, hydrogen peroxide.

Floating has changed my life. My girlfriend got me a float session for my birthday, and it has given me perspective to the healing power of the mind. We now go at least once a month and each float is better than the last. The staff is awesome and help set the tone for a really relaxing session.
First time trying a float spa and I would recommend it. I got a gift card for Christmas and planned on using this for my birthday. First time users are required to watch an introductory video and then you get a tour of the facilities. You're required to shower before and after which is very nice.
Friendly knowledgeable staff. It was our first time in a salt float and the staff, along with a beautiful spa, made our float so easy and relaxing. They accommodated us- we had a group of 4.
I have been coming here for floats on and off for many years, and the experience is always excellent. The facility is consistently clean and comforting, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The new vitality suite is a wonderful addition to their services, and I tried it for the first time last week.
Your first float at True REST Float Spa
Never floated before? Almost no one has their first time, and a good center expects it. Here's what to know. What it is: you float effortlessly in about ten inches of skin-temperature water saturated with around 1,000 lbs of Epsom salt — so dense you cannot sink. In the dark and quiet, with no light, sound, or gravity to react to, your nervous system downshifts. Before you come: don't shave or wax for a day beforehand (salt stings fresh cuts — they'll have barrier ointment if you nick yourself), skip caffeine, eat a light meal an hour or two before, and remove contacts. If you colored your hair recently, wait a few days. In the tank: shower first, put earplugs in before you get wet, and keep a fresh-water spray bottle within reach for salt in the eyes. You can leave the light or music on until you settle, then turn them off from inside. Hold your arms out for the first 20–30 seconds to stop bobbing, then let go. It takes a few tries — the first 20 minutes are usually your mind winding down. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to shower and get oriented.
