Water & cleaning at True REST Float Spa
Sanitation is the thing seasoned floaters care about most, and most directories never show it. Between every float, the salt water should be pumped through fine filtration and disinfected — salt alone is not enough. From True REST Float Spa's own information: down to a 5-micron filter, UV sterilization, ozone, hydrogen peroxide.

From the reviews
Truly a relaxing experience. I had my first float this evening and the gals working were super friendly, walked me through the whole process and made me feel so welcome and comfortable. The float experience itself is super cool. Its a whole new level to meditation and stress recovery.
A fun wellness experience in Pensacola! I love trying new things when it comes to improving my health and had the opportunity to go to my first floating experience. Atmosphere: The pods are located in a private hallway with separate doors that lead to everyone’s personal room.
- This as my first experience was truly amazing! I would definitely float again 20/10!!! - The staff was amazing and welcoming. They make you feel at ease and comfortable while you make yourself feel at home. - This was a very therapeutic experience like none other and i recommend any and everyone to give it a try!
Thank you & shout out to True REST Float Spa. So grateful for the FREE vet float! The owners, husband & wife team, are stand-up folks. Give them a follow & a like. If you are in & around the Pensacola area, check them out. I've been renewed & revived after just an hour float in the salt this morning. Good feelings.
Your first float at True REST Float Spa
Never floated before? Almost no one has their first time, and a good center expects it. Here's what to know. What it is: you float effortlessly in about ten inches of skin-temperature water saturated with around 1,000 lbs of Epsom salt — so dense you cannot sink. In the dark and quiet, with no light, sound, or gravity to react to, your nervous system downshifts. Before you come: don't shave or wax for a day beforehand (salt stings fresh cuts — they'll have barrier ointment if you nick yourself), skip caffeine, eat a light meal an hour or two before, and remove contacts. If you colored your hair recently, wait a few days. In the tank: shower first, put earplugs in before you get wet, and keep a fresh-water spray bottle within reach for salt in the eyes. You can leave the light or music on until you settle, then turn them off from inside. Hold your arms out for the first 20–30 seconds to stop bobbing, then let go. It takes a few tries — the first 20 minutes are usually your mind winding down. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to shower and get oriented.
