From the reviews
Thrive and Revive is such a comfy and relaxing spa! My husband and I had our first float here and it was magical to say the least. Roy and his wife started this spa and put their hearts into it, you can tell as soon as you step in.
Very relaxing from beginning to end. Very cozy vibe when you first come inside. They tell you everything you need to know before you float and they provide a water pillow and earplugs along with some snacks and water bottles. The room is very private and relaxing. After I floated I felt a big difference in my back.
From the moment I walked through the door, I felt welcomed. The owners, Cindy and Roy, instantly made us feel comfortable. The atmosphere and energy of the place felt peaceful and calming right away. They took the time to explain the floating room, massage chair, and all the benefits of the therapy.
Was able to do a float. It was amazing from start to finish. The owner makes you feel like family. Such a welcoming and clean environment. I had never done a float before it was relaxing the pod was very spacious. There was snacks and a tea made where we got to talk with the owner a little more.
Your first float at ThrIVe & RevIVe Wellness Spa
Never floated before? Almost no one has their first time, and a good center expects it. Here's what to know. What it is: you float effortlessly in about ten inches of skin-temperature water saturated with around 1,000 lbs of Epsom salt — so dense you cannot sink. In the dark and quiet, with no light, sound, or gravity to react to, your nervous system downshifts. Before you come: don't shave or wax for a day beforehand (salt stings fresh cuts — they'll have barrier ointment if you nick yourself), skip caffeine, eat a light meal an hour or two before, and remove contacts. If you colored your hair recently, wait a few days. In the tank: shower first, put earplugs in before you get wet, and keep a fresh-water spray bottle within reach for salt in the eyes. You can leave the light or music on until you settle, then turn them off from inside. Hold your arms out for the first 20–30 seconds to stop bobbing, then let go. It takes a few tries — the first 20 minutes are usually your mind winding down. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to shower and get oriented.
