The tanks & rooms here
The classic enclosed capsule with a hinged lid. Deepest sensory deprivation; you lie down and pull the lid to.
The room itself is the vessel: no hatch, walk straight in. Great for claustrophobia and easier access.
Water & cleaning at The Himalayan Cave
Sanitation is the thing seasoned floaters care about most, and most directories never show it. Between every float, the salt water should be pumped through fine filtration and disinfected — salt alone is not enough. From The Himalayan Cave's own information: UV sterilization.

From the reviews
Stepping into the float pod was like hitting a reset button. The sensory deprivation allowed my mind to truly unwind, something I didn't realize I desperately needed. The feeling of weightlessness was incredibly soothing, and I emerged feeling deeply relaxed and refreshed.
Debbie is great! I brought my wife in today to enjoy the salt booth and float pod. We had a wonderful experience and we will be back!
My fiance and I each did the 30 minute float pod. It was such a relaxing experience. Overall the place is very clean and each room has such a cool unique design. It's a very relaxing experience and the owners were so nice and helpful. They make you feel right at home like you are apart of their family.
Had an amazing time. Went with my wife, sister in love(sil), and friend to celebrate my sil birthday. This was our first time at Himalayan Cave and the owners were nice and friendly. We will definitely be back
Your first float at The Himalayan Cave
Never floated before? Almost no one has their first time, and a good center expects it. Here's what to know. What it is: you float effortlessly in about ten inches of skin-temperature water saturated with around 1,000 lbs of Epsom salt — so dense you cannot sink. In the dark and quiet, with no light, sound, or gravity to react to, your nervous system downshifts. Before you come: don't shave or wax for a day beforehand (salt stings fresh cuts — they'll have barrier ointment if you nick yourself), skip caffeine, eat a light meal an hour or two before, and remove contacts. If you colored your hair recently, wait a few days. In the tank: shower first, put earplugs in before you get wet, and keep a fresh-water spray bottle within reach for salt in the eyes. You can leave the light or music on until you settle, then turn them off from inside. Hold your arms out for the first 20–30 seconds to stop bobbing, then let go. It takes a few tries — the first 20 minutes are usually your mind winding down. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to shower and get oriented.
