Water & cleaning at Stillpoint Wellness Spa
Sanitation is the thing seasoned floaters care about most, and most directories never show it. Between every float, the salt water should be pumped through fine filtration and disinfected — salt alone is not enough. From Stillpoint Wellness Spa's own information: UV sterilization, ozone.

From the reviews
I booked a 90 minute float and a 75 minute massage on Friday afternoon and they were to get me in on Sunday at the time I wanted. The float was my first, and now that I know what to expect I think it will be even more relaxing next time. The massage was just lovely.
This is such a wonderful place and experience and I will be back. The Eselan massage was different with Softer, longer strokes so very relaxing. The Salt float lab is an experience as well. Took me a while to get comfortable in it, but once I did it was a neat experience. I would recommend them highly.
My mom, sister, and aunt went to this spa on Saturday and the staff was very warm and welcoming..We all had a full body 60 minute massage and floated. My massage was with Katie and she was fantastic. The float was different and difficult for me to relax.
Wonderful experience, 39 weeks pregnant and my first time floating. I felt relaxed from the moment I walked in the door. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and warm. The floating experience itself is unlike any other spa treatment, the isolation and solitude is a needed break from the stressors of the outside world.
Your first float at Stillpoint Wellness Spa
Never floated before? Almost no one has their first time, and a good center expects it. Here's what to know. What it is: you float effortlessly in about ten inches of skin-temperature water saturated with around 1,000 lbs of Epsom salt — so dense you cannot sink. In the dark and quiet, with no light, sound, or gravity to react to, your nervous system downshifts. Before you come: don't shave or wax for a day beforehand (salt stings fresh cuts — they'll have barrier ointment if you nick yourself), skip caffeine, eat a light meal an hour or two before, and remove contacts. If you colored your hair recently, wait a few days. In the tank: shower first, put earplugs in before you get wet, and keep a fresh-water spray bottle within reach for salt in the eyes. You can leave the light or music on until you settle, then turn them off from inside. Hold your arms out for the first 20–30 seconds to stop bobbing, then let go. It takes a few tries — the first 20 minutes are usually your mind winding down. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to shower and get oriented.
