My boyfriend and I came here for a couples float on Saturday! This place deserves more than 5 stars. We were greeted by the guy at the front as we walked in. He took us to the waiting room and they took us right back to our private room and explained everything in detail to us. He was amazing and very through!
Still Water Floatation My float experience at Still Water Floatation was absolutely incredible. From the moment I arrived, David and his team made me feel comfortable and at ease. I was honestly a bit nervous going in, but the experience completely exceeded my expectations.
Fantastic experience. 5 STARS! The facility is wonderful and the staff and orientation is great. I had been wanting to do this for a couple years and my wife surprised me on my birthday with a couples float.
This place is a gem. My husband and I booked a couples float. The office decor is beautiful, and every bit of the place is peaceful. The staff was very friendly and thorough when giving instruction on how to prep for the float. The room/tank is clean, and supplies provided are quality.
Your first float at Still Water Floatation
Never floated before? Almost no one has their first time, and a good center expects it. Here's what to know. What it is: you float effortlessly in about ten inches of skin-temperature water saturated with around 1,000 lbs of Epsom salt — so dense you cannot sink. In the dark and quiet, with no light, sound, or gravity to react to, your nervous system downshifts. Before you come: don't shave or wax for a day beforehand (salt stings fresh cuts — they'll have barrier ointment if you nick yourself), skip caffeine, eat a light meal an hour or two before, and remove contacts. If you colored your hair recently, wait a few days. In the tank: shower first, put earplugs in before you get wet, and keep a fresh-water spray bottle within reach for salt in the eyes. You can leave the light or music on until you settle, then turn them off from inside. Hold your arms out for the first 20–30 seconds to stop bobbing, then let go. It takes a few tries — the first 20 minutes are usually your mind winding down. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to shower and get oriented.
