The room itself is the vessel: no hatch, walk straight in. Great for claustrophobia and easier access.

From the reviews
I have visited Still Life Massage and Float a handful of times over this last year. It is the perfect place to reset and restore. The float tank rooms are nice and clean, and they leave everything you need inside: towels, spray bottle and wash cloth in the pod, ear plugs, makeup remover wipe, Vaseline, shampoo, body…
I recommend! Very clean, comfortable, and welcoming facility. Nice touches like lovely scented body wash, jellyfish tank sitting area and more. Floating feels great, the Epsom salt content is very high and it’s so relaxing! A good way to work on meditation if you’re into that. Not to mention you feel amazing after!
This was my first time doing a float and I was visiting from out of town, so I had no idea what to expect. The facility was lovely and super clean. The instructional videos and emails were super helpful. I really liked the vibe of the person who helped me.
Absolutely love this place! From the massages to the float, everything is super quality, the staff is so kind and friendly, and the space is spotless every time. Highly recommend to anyone familiar with floats and beginners alike.
Your first float at Still Life Massage and Float
Never floated before? Almost no one has their first time, and a good center expects it. Here's what to know. What it is: you float effortlessly in about ten inches of skin-temperature water saturated with around 1,000 lbs of Epsom salt — so dense you cannot sink. In the dark and quiet, with no light, sound, or gravity to react to, your nervous system downshifts. Before you come: don't shave or wax for a day beforehand (salt stings fresh cuts — they'll have barrier ointment if you nick yourself), skip caffeine, eat a light meal an hour or two before, and remove contacts. If you colored your hair recently, wait a few days. In the tank: shower first, put earplugs in before you get wet, and keep a fresh-water spray bottle within reach for salt in the eyes. You can leave the light or music on until you settle, then turn them off from inside. Hold your arms out for the first 20–30 seconds to stop bobbing, then let go. It takes a few tries — the first 20 minutes are usually your mind winding down. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to shower and get oriented.
