The classic enclosed capsule with a hinged lid. Deepest sensory deprivation; you lie down and pull the lid to.

This was such a neat experience! I wasn’t sure what to expect (my husband took me here as a surprise) but I’ll tell ya I’m worried I had some depression because after the float, I couldn’t stop smiling. It was like a complete nervous system reset. I’ve never experienced anything like it & the feeling lasted for days..
I really enjoyed my float the other day. The lady at the desk was really nice and helpful. I really happy that my husband was able to go with me and just sit while I did my float since I was a little nervous so thank you for allowing him to stay with me the whole time definitely will recommend to family and coworkers…
Just experienced my second float and it was just as great as the first! I've tried both the pod and the pool now. It was not only relaxing, but helpful on sore muscles. The staff is super friendly, and the massage chair is pretty fabulous, too. Will definitely be returning and would recommend to others!
so cool and unique!!! upon arriving jamie was so kind and personable. she explained everything thoroughly and made sure we were comfy with everything. the feeling from floating is indescribable and so relaxing. i recommend everyone give it a try at least once!!
Your first float at Serenus Float and Wellness Center
Never floated before? Almost no one has their first time, and a good center expects it. Here's what to know. What it is: you float effortlessly in about ten inches of skin-temperature water saturated with around 1,000 lbs of Epsom salt — so dense you cannot sink. In the dark and quiet, with no light, sound, or gravity to react to, your nervous system downshifts. Before you come: don't shave or wax for a day beforehand (salt stings fresh cuts — they'll have barrier ointment if you nick yourself), skip caffeine, eat a light meal an hour or two before, and remove contacts. If you colored your hair recently, wait a few days. In the tank: shower first, put earplugs in before you get wet, and keep a fresh-water spray bottle within reach for salt in the eyes. You can leave the light or music on until you settle, then turn them off from inside. Hold your arms out for the first 20–30 seconds to stop bobbing, then let go. It takes a few tries — the first 20 minutes are usually your mind winding down. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to shower and get oriented.
