What floaters say
“It was clean, I just like to wear them in shared facilities and it does get pretty wet all over from the shower, so it was slippery.”
“Loved the salt cave, my first float was so relaxing, and the massage chairs were quite nice.”
From the reviews
“We had a wonderful experience at this location! We enjoyed a session in the salt cave, an Avicii massage, and most importantly, a float session. Each experience was incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating. The atmosphere was peaceful, the staff was welcoming, and we left feeling completely refreshed.
Went for my 1st float today as I purchased the $49/monthly membership. So that includes a 1 hour float in the salt tank and a half hour massage chair use. I went to feel it out as a newbie and I have a lot of others asking me about my experience. I also have a gift certificate to use as well.
One of the most magical experiences ever. Went for a bff girls day and it was calm and rejuvenating. Started with a float, followed by a hot & cold plunge, and ended with the salt cave. The staff was so kind, helpful, and inviting. Everything is so clean and beautiful. Can’t wait to go back.
This place is amazing. It offers float rooms, a salt cave, a Vichy shower room, massage chairs, and contrast therapy (hot and cold plunge tubs, a sauna room and shower.) The spa is beautifully appointed with a lot of attention to detail. My husband and I did the salt cave today.
Your first float at SÔLT Recovery Spa
Never floated before? Almost no one has their first time, and a good center expects it. Here's what to know. What it is: you float effortlessly in about ten inches of skin-temperature water saturated with around 1,000 lbs of Epsom salt — so dense you cannot sink. In the dark and quiet, with no light, sound, or gravity to react to, your nervous system downshifts. Before you come: don't shave or wax for a day beforehand (salt stings fresh cuts — they'll have barrier ointment if you nick yourself), skip caffeine, eat a light meal an hour or two before, and remove contacts. If you colored your hair recently, wait a few days. In the tank: shower first, put earplugs in before you get wet, and keep a fresh-water spray bottle within reach for salt in the eyes. You can leave the light or music on until you settle, then turn them off from inside. Hold your arms out for the first 20–30 seconds to stop bobbing, then let go. It takes a few tries — the first 20 minutes are usually your mind winding down. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to shower and get oriented.
