The classic enclosed capsule with a hinged lid. Deepest sensory deprivation; you lie down and pull the lid to.

An amazing space! So happy to have a place like this in the valley!!! I've attended: a float session, a yoga class, a guided meditation. For those who have never done a float before: (because this was my first time and didn't know what to expect!) There is a shower in the float room.
I have been meaning to go to Resonate for a while (since March) but I just never got around to it. For some reason today at like 5 pm I had the urge to look and see if there were any float sessions available as soon as possible. Fully thinking that it would not be a today situation.
How truly lovely! I’d never tried a float session before so I don’t have anything else to compare this to. All I can say is that the experience was nothing short of indulgent. The private room, shower, and float pod were immaculately clean and had everything I would need for the perfect experience.
I had an incredible experience at Resonate! I have had a couple Reiki sessions with Chrissy, and her expertise and calming energy made it so relaxing and uplifting. I also tried out the float pod which was a unique and deeply soothing experience!
Your first float at Resonate Yoga, Reiki and Wellness Center
Never floated before? Almost no one has their first time, and a good center expects it. Here's what to know. What it is: you float effortlessly in about ten inches of skin-temperature water saturated with around 1,000 lbs of Epsom salt — so dense you cannot sink. In the dark and quiet, with no light, sound, or gravity to react to, your nervous system downshifts. Before you come: don't shave or wax for a day beforehand (salt stings fresh cuts — they'll have barrier ointment if you nick yourself), skip caffeine, eat a light meal an hour or two before, and remove contacts. If you colored your hair recently, wait a few days. In the tank: shower first, put earplugs in before you get wet, and keep a fresh-water spray bottle within reach for salt in the eyes. You can leave the light or music on until you settle, then turn them off from inside. Hold your arms out for the first 20–30 seconds to stop bobbing, then let go. It takes a few tries — the first 20 minutes are usually your mind winding down. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to shower and get oriented.
