The tanks & rooms here
No lid to close over you — the answer for anyone who feels boxed in. Open pools, open rooms, or pods whose door stays open.
The room itself is the vessel: no hatch, walk straight in. Great for claustrophobia and easier access.
A room-sized open pool of salt water. Zero enclosure, easiest for two, most spacious of all.

What a fantastic experience! My husband and I did a 15 minute chair massage followed by a couples float. So relaxing! The owner was awesome and very accommodating. We will definitely be back!
I found Release float spa on google and decided to sign up for a float for a Mother’s Day treat, and What a lovely spa! I was greeted by the owner and given a tour of the space which was clean and welcoming. I was then shown my room, where there was a single float room. It was so nice and a much needed time to relax.
I went to Release for a 60 minute float. A couple weeks ago I tore my calf muscle then reinjured it so I am having troubles walking. When I walked in, I was greeted very warmly and asked about my limping. The new manager also works at the hospital and knew immediately how much the float should help.
Floating was so dang relaxing! Book your visit now! The woman working the counter was so kind! We were given a tour of the facility and a full introduction into floating. We got a free 15 minute session in the massage chair. It was unbelievable. The compression mixed with the massage felt so great.
Your first float at Release Float Retreat
Never floated before? Almost no one has their first time, and a good center expects it. Here's what to know. What it is: you float effortlessly in about ten inches of skin-temperature water saturated with around 1,000 lbs of Epsom salt — so dense you cannot sink. In the dark and quiet, with no light, sound, or gravity to react to, your nervous system downshifts. Before you come: don't shave or wax for a day beforehand (salt stings fresh cuts — they'll have barrier ointment if you nick yourself), skip caffeine, eat a light meal an hour or two before, and remove contacts. If you colored your hair recently, wait a few days. In the tank: shower first, put earplugs in before you get wet, and keep a fresh-water spray bottle within reach for salt in the eyes. You can leave the light or music on until you settle, then turn them off from inside. Hold your arms out for the first 20–30 seconds to stop bobbing, then let go. It takes a few tries — the first 20 minutes are usually your mind winding down. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to shower and get oriented.
