From the reviews
Oh Baby Spa might be my baby's favorite place in the world. He first floated when he was about 6 weeks old and we have been obsessed ever since! With each float he becomes stronger and even more relaxed, the benefits of the spa seem to amplify with each visit. We love the atmosphere and the staff at Oh Baby Spa.
This was an awesome experience! Katie is the best and has so much knowledge to offer. My baby boy loved all the lights and toys. The spa is super cute and relaxing. Kobe started to get fussy and Katie was amazing at helping him get grounded again. We will be back until he exceeds the weight limit!
Lisa Lahey's baby spa provides such a cool, fun, unique experience for parents & baby. It was nice to do as a bonding experience as a family. Lisa is so knowledgeable, down to earth & such a great resource for breastfeeding needs too. Highly recommend for your little ones who will so enjoy it!
My husband and I took our 3 month old to Oh Baby for the first time and loved it! I wasn’t sure how he would do since the most water he has ever been in is at bath time, but he loved every minute of it!
Your first float at Oh Baby Float Spa
Never floated before? Almost no one has their first time, and a good center expects it. Here's what to know. What it is: you float effortlessly in about ten inches of skin-temperature water saturated with around 1,000 lbs of Epsom salt — so dense you cannot sink. In the dark and quiet, with no light, sound, or gravity to react to, your nervous system downshifts. Before you come: don't shave or wax for a day beforehand (salt stings fresh cuts — they'll have barrier ointment if you nick yourself), skip caffeine, eat a light meal an hour or two before, and remove contacts. If you colored your hair recently, wait a few days. In the tank: shower first, put earplugs in before you get wet, and keep a fresh-water spray bottle within reach for salt in the eyes. You can leave the light or music on until you settle, then turn them off from inside. Hold your arms out for the first 20–30 seconds to stop bobbing, then let go. It takes a few tries — the first 20 minutes are usually your mind winding down. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to shower and get oriented.
