The tanks & rooms here
The classic enclosed capsule with a hinged lid. Deepest sensory deprivation; you lie down and pull the lid to.
A walk-in enclosure with full standing height — for taller floaters and anyone who wants privacy without a low lid.
The room itself is the vessel: no hatch, walk straight in. Great for claustrophobia and easier access.
Water & cleaning at Ocean Elements Wellness, LLC
Sanitation is the thing seasoned floaters care about most, and most directories never show it. Between every float, the salt water should be pumped through fine filtration and disinfected — salt alone is not enough. From Ocean Elements Wellness, LLC's own information: filters the full tank 4× between floats, down to a 1-micron filter, UV sterilization.

Wonderful experience! I had never floated before so this was my first experience. It was very unique and relaxing. The facility was very clean and well equipped and the staff was extremely friendly! Beautiful facility!
This place is wonderful. Did the salt room and float tank. The staff was very communicative beforehand and sent instructions, videos, and waivers so I didn’t have to fill out when I went; could just focus on relaxing. The salt room was the nicest I’ve seen - comfy chairs with foot rest, salt everywhere, and quiet.
The best place to relax in Ocean City! I'm literally obsessed. Ocean Elements is my favorite way to unwind on the weekend. Highly recommend a salt float or the fire and ice (sauna and cold plunge). And, worth mentioning, Amy is usually working the front desk--she's always a treat. 10/10. Highly recommend!
This was my first time doing a salt water soak. It was amazing, relaxing, and made my skin feel so soft and smooth. The staff was so amazing and friendly, and gave clear instructions and a tour of the whole place. The whole place was so clean. There is a separate room to fix my hair with products, too.
Your first float at Ocean Elements Wellness, LLC
Never floated before? Almost no one has their first time, and a good center expects it. Here's what to know. What it is: you float effortlessly in about ten inches of skin-temperature water saturated with around 1,000 lbs of Epsom salt — so dense you cannot sink. In the dark and quiet, with no light, sound, or gravity to react to, your nervous system downshifts. Before you come: don't shave or wax for a day beforehand (salt stings fresh cuts — they'll have barrier ointment if you nick yourself), skip caffeine, eat a light meal an hour or two before, and remove contacts. If you colored your hair recently, wait a few days. In the tank: shower first, put earplugs in before you get wet, and keep a fresh-water spray bottle within reach for salt in the eyes. You can leave the light or music on until you settle, then turn them off from inside. Hold your arms out for the first 20–30 seconds to stop bobbing, then let go. It takes a few tries — the first 20 minutes are usually your mind winding down. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to shower and get oriented.
