Water & cleaning at Nalu Float
Sanitation is the thing seasoned floaters care about most, and most directories never show it. Between every float, the salt water should be pumped through fine filtration and disinfected — salt alone is not enough. From Nalu Float's own information: filters the full tank 3× between floats, UV sterilization, hydrogen peroxide.

I floated for the first time at Nalu Float and the people who welcomed me were very warm and engaging. I felt nervous and they talked me through what to expect, the process etc. The session went by very fast and was very beneficial. You're able to leave the light on or shut if off at any point.
Expect to feel welcomed upon entering the front door. The setting is nice, the owner is friendly and very knowledgeable. Everything is clean and up to date, it’s a great establishment... As for the float, I have only been once but I will definitely go as often as I can.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 11/10 — an absolute MUST-DO From the moment I walked into Nalu Float, I knew I was in good hands. Jon has the softest, most welcoming energy and explained everything so clearly that any nerves I had disappeared almost immediately. I honestly couldn’t wait to get into the tank. The float itself? Pure MAGIC!!
Visited Rochester Mn traveling from Oregon. I work in a spa in Oregon with one float cabin. I have never floated in tanks like Nalu before so it was defiantly on my bucket list to do. I absolute loved the experience. The tanks were a smaller version then what I have used before and it completely changed my world.
Your first float at Nalu Float
Never floated before? Almost no one has their first time, and a good center expects it. Here's what to know. What it is: you float effortlessly in about ten inches of skin-temperature water saturated with around 1,000 lbs of Epsom salt — so dense you cannot sink. In the dark and quiet, with no light, sound, or gravity to react to, your nervous system downshifts. Before you come: don't shave or wax for a day beforehand (salt stings fresh cuts — they'll have barrier ointment if you nick yourself), skip caffeine, eat a light meal an hour or two before, and remove contacts. If you colored your hair recently, wait a few days. In the tank: shower first, put earplugs in before you get wet, and keep a fresh-water spray bottle within reach for salt in the eyes. You can leave the light or music on until you settle, then turn them off from inside. Hold your arms out for the first 20–30 seconds to stop bobbing, then let go. It takes a few tries — the first 20 minutes are usually your mind winding down. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to shower and get oriented.
