Water & cleaning at Heavenly Spa and Cosmetic Ink
Sanitation is the thing seasoned floaters care about most, and most directories never show it. Between every float, the salt water should be pumped through fine filtration and disinfected — salt alone is not enough. From Heavenly Spa and Cosmetic Ink's own information: ozone.

From the reviews
So glad that Heavenly Spa has brought a float tank option to the Waterville area. If you haven't heard of this before, consider looking into it as a way to relax and unplug for an hour. I went for the first time yesterday evening. Tammy has done a thoughtful job of setting up a comfortable space.
I booked myself for the float tank and a massage and my husband a massage . Katie did an exceptional job at our massages . I have had massages in the past but this was the best massage both my husband and I experienced . Booked another massage in 2 weeks . Highly recommend Katie she is amazing !
I have gone to Tammy for years for my hair. I’ve been to Heavenly Spa for manicures, pedicures, ozone treatments and most recently a float in her new float tank. All staff have been professional and friendly. I’ve seen Tammy, Shan, Julie, Adalia and Kyndrick so far. 10/10 recommend.
This was my first time at Heavenly Spa and I have never been taken care of the way Tammy did. She is my person and I am amazed at what a beautiful job she did with my hair. Thank you Tammy and also the wonderful team you have ❤️❤️❤️
Your first float at Heavenly Spa and Cosmetic Ink
Never floated before? Almost no one has their first time, and a good center expects it. Here's what to know. What it is: you float effortlessly in about ten inches of skin-temperature water saturated with around 1,000 lbs of Epsom salt — so dense you cannot sink. In the dark and quiet, with no light, sound, or gravity to react to, your nervous system downshifts. Before you come: don't shave or wax for a day beforehand (salt stings fresh cuts — they'll have barrier ointment if you nick yourself), skip caffeine, eat a light meal an hour or two before, and remove contacts. If you colored your hair recently, wait a few days. In the tank: shower first, put earplugs in before you get wet, and keep a fresh-water spray bottle within reach for salt in the eyes. You can leave the light or music on until you settle, then turn them off from inside. Hold your arms out for the first 20–30 seconds to stop bobbing, then let go. It takes a few tries — the first 20 minutes are usually your mind winding down. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to shower and get oriented.
